    The Cathedral is close to Nottingham center and few minutes walk from The Museum of Curiosities. It's a very cathedral open to public. It has a lovely architecture inside and outside. It's welcoming to anybody who wants to pray or just get away from the street noise and get some quiet moments. You can learn about it's rich history and future plans. The stained painted glass and the dimly lit back halls give the cathedral a charming atmoshpere to meditate about life or what ever a person wants to meditate about. The icons and drawing are lovely.

    We were married at St Barnabas in late December 2022 and we were blown away by the stunning cathedral and the welcoming nature of Alison and Canon Malachy Brett. Planning our wedding from Melbourne Australia was no small feat but working with Alison in the lead up to our wedding in England was very straightforward. We were able to organise our ceremony, including a duet and organ player from the other side of the world all via email. The cathedral also provided a livestream that our family and friends in Australia could use to tune in and feel a part of our wedding. We put a lot of trust in everything turning out as we wanted but the day of our wedding was beyond belief. We had so many comments on the beauty of the setting and the skill of the singers and organist. It certainly made our wedding one to remember for not just us. Canon Malachy Brett was wonderful to work with in the lead up to our big day. He knew the balance between respecting the seriousness of the sacrament of marriage whilst also being light hearted and jovial to calm our pre wedding jitters. We cannot thank you enough and cannot recommend you enough. Thank you for marrying us!

    The cathedral is an interesting place to visit, from Derby Road you could take in the scale of the building, you have visit the courtyard to truly see it. There's so much to see inside I was truly honoured to be able to view it.

    Very beautiful church. Is open to public no staff were found, donations accepted in entrance either cash or contact less. Stained glass is good. Each of the Stations of the cross are wonderful reliefs. Saturday Virgil is at 630 pm (1830).

    A nice peaceful cathedral to visit, which is free entry and open to the public. However, this cathedral does pale in comparison to other English cathedrals. Was going to get a stamp for my Pilgrim Passport but there was no-one around so I guess they don't do it here.
