“Beautiful tranquil visit. My mum and got married here over 60years ago.”
“Great pub. Awesome choice of drinks and just a lovely atmosphere! They do regular live music events, which are great and I love that we don't have to travel out of Newark to see some great quality bands. The choice of drinks is also good and there's definitely something for everyone. The open fire is always a bonus too!”
“We went to see 'to kill a mocking bird', which was excellent. From the point of booking I was kept really well informed about timings, how to get there, parking, access etc. It was very helpful being our first time to the venue. We sat in the circle, which is fairly steep, but has excellent visibility, even if you have a tall person sat in front of you. Very good! The bars were open in good time and drinks easy to buy or book for the interval and a water urn was available too, which is great. A really great venue and play. Certainly recommended and we'll be going back again.”
“Amazing aerial studio. Loads of different aerial options to try in classes and staff are super friendly and encouraging. Only wish there were more class options across more different days and cheaper class prices.”
“Always peaceful and quiet, good place to go for a walk.”
“Both our children attended Tuyo for several years. The staff were amazing, both in terms of their kindness and compassion, and their ability to give instructions that would teach a child to do something they never dreamed they could do. Every time there was a sharing I was blown away by the incredible core strength, balance, positive self-image and control they had developed. Would highly recommend.”
“We've just been to the one over on the Embankment in Peterborough, we paid £46 for 2 Adults and 3 Children! It was an hour and a half long and definitely worth it! We have a typical fidgeting 4 year old but he sat still mesmerised the whole time! Peanut was the kids favourite for most of it but we all enjoyed the Aireal acts and the kids loved the Unicycle! Not laughed as hard as we did tonight for a long while! Thank you to all who made it a great time, the acts and also the behind the scenes people that make it happen!”
“I’m not a big fan of cemetery but I’ve enjoyed this one. Was a nice experience. Peaceful and quiet ! Area very clean.”
“Mag Mug Café – Nottingham | A Hidden Gem with Middle Eastern Vibes I've been a regular at Mag Mug Café for the past 5 months, and it’s safe to say it’s become one of my favourite spots in Nottingham. If you’re into cozy cafés with chill vibes, good music, and a Middle Eastern flair—this place should be on your list. The highlight of their menu (and trust me, I’ve tried most of it by now) is hands down the Saffron Milk Cake—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Their Tiramisu Cake is another must-try; light, indulgent, and just the right amount of sweet. Pair that with their Arabic Coffee Pot or a warm cup of Karak Chai, and you’ve got a match made in café heaven. The ambience is lovely, especially at night. Soft lighting, mellow tunes, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere make it perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying some solo time. They also have outdoor seating, which is great when the weather’s nice. I’ve spent countless evenings here working on my laptop, sipping chai, and just vibing to the music. Whether you’re looking for a dessert fix, a caffeine boost, or just a cozy spot to chill—Mag Mug Café delivers every time. Highly recommend!”
“Saw Kathryn Joseph here recently, great venue and sound. Parking can be a bit of a problem and expensive so I park nearby by Sneinton Market site and walk 5 mins to venue”
“One of the best set menu fine dining experiences in Nottingham. It was clear on every course the detail put into the flavours and presentation. The taste was also incredible on every course and very much worth the cost. I also went away feeling decent level of full and the course pacing allowed a good amount of time to make it's a great experience. Staff were also great and attentive to dietary needs. Overall a super experience worth trying.”
“Music is fantastic! I see The Most Ugly Child as often as I can, and I've never been disappointed by just turning up to see a band. Some great beers draught and fun shots too. The bar has a strong country theme which is pretty cool!”
“Fantastic traditional pub with great selection of drinks, friendly bar staff, outdoor seating and chill out areas. The prices were really good compared to the city centre so it's definitely worth a walk up to if you are visiting Nottingham. There was a beer festival on for the weekend when we attended with some excellent local hand pulls.”
