“We had an amazing night at Boom Battle Bar in Plymouth! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric—great music, lively energy, and such a fun vibe. There’s a brilliant range of games to choose from; we tried axe throwing, beer pong, and shuffleboard, and honestly, each one brought a different kind of excitement. Everything was well-organized, and the staff were super helpful in explaining the rules and keeping things running smoothly. A special shoutout goes to Hannah, who truly made our evening unforgettable. She was incredibly friendly, upbeat, and attentive throughout the night. Whether it was helping us get started with the games or keeping our drinks topped up, she went above and beyond. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely enthusiastic and dedicated to great service—she really brought an extra spark to the experience. The drinks menu was also great, with a good mix of cocktails, beers, and fun options like slushies. Prices were reasonable for a venue offering such a unique night out. All in all, Boom Battle Bar is a fantastic place for groups, parties, or even date nights. We’ll definitely be back soon—and hope to see Hannah again too!”

“My daughter today went for the sushi making class for children. When we arrived, she was able to have gyozas, edamame and a drink. Kris, who led the class, then talked us through how to make sushi at home; he was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot. He then showed my daughter how to roll and make 3 different types of sushi - Kris really clearly demonstrated how to do it, and supported if she was really stuck, but this wasn't often as he was an excellent teacher. We got to try everything and my daughter was proud of all she did. Thank you Kris - we had a great morning. Would recommend to other people! You need to book in advanced I believe.”

“Well lit and very clean carpark ideally located in the centre of town with lifts down to the shopping floors. OK not the cheapest but reasonable. 1 hour is expensive but 3to4 hours were reasonable. We would definitely use this parking again more for the convenience of being centrally located. Not much spaces lower down but was plenty on the upper floors.”

The mall has a great selection of stores, from popular high-street brands to beauty, tech, and lifestyle shops – making it easy to find whatever you’re looking for in one convenient location. The centre is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a spacious layout that makes for a relaxed shopping experience. It’s also beautifully decorated during festive seasons, which adds a really nice touch. There are plenty of food and drink options available, whether you’re after a quick coffee, a light lunch, or something more filling. The café and restaurant area on the upper floor offers a good variety and a nice spot to take a break. The staff across the stores and the mall itself are friendly and helpful, and there’s a strong sense of safety and organisation throughout. Parking is convenient, and the location is easily accessible by public transport. Overall, Drake Circus is a great place to shop, meet friends, or spend a rainy afternoon in Plymouth. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!”

“If you are unfamiliar with Nando’s you must visit. Once seated you get the menu and a QR code. From there you can decide in your own time and choose your dishes and drinks. Take items off or add to your order it is simple and to be honest a different experience than explaining everything to a waiter. We have a picky eater so this option made it easy to select exactly what we wanted. The service after you order is excellent. Drinks arrive and then the food. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the sides are amazing. You will not be disappointed going to Nando’s. We have been to a few around the UK and all of them have the same high standards.”

“First time experience. 2 different courses we did the temple one. Small arcade upstairs with seating for food and a drink also. We did the family pass 34 quid for 2 adults, 2 kids. The courses seem pretty new and everything is clean and tidy. If your looking for something to waste couple of hrs this was pretty good would recommend.”

“I just finished my degree in Marine Biology. This has been a positive life changing experience for me. The teaching staff is absolutely incredible. You will get taught by people at the top of their field and it is noticeable in their teaching. I felt supported and inspired. I am sad it is over even though, thanks to them a new great journey awaits me. I will always look back at this degree as one of the best times of my life. They will make you do the work but you will be glad you did!”

The day was very thoughtfully and professionally ran, all the relevant paperwork was in order at the start of the session and the kids come out of school at the end of the day buzzing. They loved it.
