This is certainly the worst place I have ever stayed in, really wondering how any authority allows such a dump to host guests. There is mound on the walls, no fire detectors in the room, no lockers for personal belongings, the entire place smells of old sweat and weed. Staff are inattentive and couldn’t care less about anything, it’s an appalling place that is really just a minor step up from sleeping in a train station. If you can sleep anywhere else do that, it can’t get worse than this hole.

Poor organisation when we arrived Toilets were clogged. Only two wall sockets in room of 8 people, could not charge phone. They have stopped doing breakfast. Beds were in good condition. Would not recommend staying over one night here.

A place to sleep in and that’s it. Rooms don’t have storage for your bags and bathrooms where very dirty. And reception was not present.

Location was good as it was close to the concert I was attending....I presume that is why they charged £135 for a nasty room! I can't complain about the service as I did not encounter anyone other than at check in. In fairness, the shared bathrooms and sink in the room was clean.... those are the positive points! When I entered the room, the smell of air freshener was overpowering. My friend literally started to gag. Luckily, I have a bad sense of smell, but even to me, it is was horribly strong. This led us to immediately attempt to open a window. However, the windows don't open. As the room was upstairs and you have to enter a door to a hall, prior to the room door...I really hoped we wouldn't be trapped in the event of a fire. The window ledges were absolutely disgusting, really black with many dead insects imbedded in them. We then pulled back the bedclothes to have a look at the sheet. It looked a bit dodgy so we slept in our clothes, just in case! Overall, not a pleasant experience and not to be repeated. Because of the concert, there was no other accomodation available so we couldn't grin but had to bear it!

What a rip off and awful place this is... Dirty carpets, paint falling off everything from doors to windows to walls, blinds that didn't actually roll up, dirty bathrooms that were never checked, horrible mattresses and pillows that had as much bounce as a deflated ball. Waz a very last minute booking.. Will never do that again.. Would have been better sleeping in the car and saved the extortionate £90 charged. All for the sake of some TLC, cleanliness and actually taking pride in your business. Avoid this place like the plague

Its a proper dump. The only thing that was clean was the sheets. We had a double room. The mattress was a lumpy springy thing. We paid 60 quid for the room. Its still too much .

The room was tiny, which was OK but the walls had holes in them, the window was full of dust and what looked like dirt. There was also a mysterious big stain of something running down the wall, and it looked like No one had cleaned the sink in ages. The lock on the door was very loose and it looked like one good kick would get the door open. The beds was OK, softer than expected and the sheets was clean. I came with a group of people and I got lucky with my room as the others got rooms with thick layers of dust, broken windows and creaky beds. When we got there, one of the toilets on our floor was clogged, and later that evening the other toilet got clogged. We left early the next morning and when we came back later in the evening, both of the toilets was still clogged. We left that same evening because we booked for another hotel on the first day because we just couldn't be there. The bathrooms looked and smelled dirty, there was piss on the floor around one of the toilets, and I didn't even check the showers because I didn't want to know how it was there. Do not recommend this place.

Stayed in a four bed room with little space. I wouldn’t describe the beds as comfortable but they did the job for one night. Was initially cold but heating came on come time for bed and was on in the morning. The bathroom was nice, not spotless but certainly tolerable. The shower worked well and water was sufficiently hot. The kitchen was pretty run down, with dirty dishes, spiders and broken mugs but the living room was surprisingly pleasant with a television, pc and a nice selection of games. The main setback for our stay was that the lock to our door got jammed when we closed it for the night. When one of us needed to go to the bathroom in the night we couldn’t get out. In the morning we had one of our friends that was staying in a different room come help us. We passed the key under the door and they opened it from the outside. I must add, we tried calling the reception 4 times and got no answer. If this happened to someone that was staying on their own I don’t know how they’d get out. If a fire was to break out in the night we would have been trapped inside... In conclusion, I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to someone who hasn’t stayed in one before because it’s definitely low tier however if you don’t have many options it’ll probably be okay... just be damn sure your lock is working.

You get what you pay for. The staff was extremely unprofessional. Nice people, but very unprofessional. The bathrooms were very unreliable. There was almost never toilet paper and sometimes the sinks wouldn't turn on and the shower doors failed to shut completely. One of the people I was staying with found the toilet paper in a closet and took it upon herself to re-stock all of the bathrooms. Overall I found that the upkeep of this place is an extreme oversight and the staff seemed to rather hang out with each other than to take care of the hostel they were running. Also the establishment seemed a bit sketchy. They only take cash and they don't give out receipts. In all honesty we could've left without paying because they had no record of us being there. Again the staff was very nice, even the people staying at the hostel were nice. But the hostel Itself really needs some attention. You get what you pay for I guess
