   I googled them first then my mechanic recommended Shelly’s after I’d already spoke to them , Ben was my contact , when my mechanic recommended them that cemented it for me . Took my Minibus into Shelly’s Transmissions as well as my diff I had disks and bearings done . Great job good price and so far so good . 12 months warranty so like I said so far so good . Nice people and honest . I would use them again but hopefully I won’t need to . Thank you all at Shelly’s and Ben .

   Had an issue with my Subaru Impreza rear differential where the drive shaft wouldn’t sit flush so emailed Shelley transmissions and got a very quick reply where they said they could help, so dropped it off late on a Monday and it was ready on the Wednesday. Faultless professional service from start to finish and a free mug on a collection. Thank you.

   Absolutely disgusting and flabbergasted with the low level of professionalism & racism at this place. Apart from the receptionist who bless her was doing her job, the management do seriously need to teach their employees the basics of communication skills with their clients. Gave my prop shafts in to get balanced and I SPECIFICALLY told and requested for them to be done. Was told by Martin or (whatever the bold guys name is) they're not required. So I took them back and was advised by the mechanic they need to be balanced. Had to come back again and REITERATE my initial request only for them to do it. Because of their mistake and laziness, they apprantly gave me a "small discount" which should have been free as it was their error. Of course with businesses; you have some customers happy and some bad. But the lack of professionalism is very worrying to say the least. As well the reception needing a 21st century renovation; might be worthwhile to also update their staff on some basic speaking skills.

   I’ve used Shelly Transmissions for a number of years now, we travel from Coventry as was fed up with our local suppliers letting us down, worth the extra travel, always try to be cost effective, quick return and good value for money!    Amazing service from this company! Dropped my prop shaft off for repair from a VW Touareg at 4pm on Friday. They had this all done and ready by 11am Monday. At a cost of 1/20 of what the main dealer quoted me for a new replacement prop shaft (as they don’t repair). The prop shaft is now refitted to the car and works perfect again with no knocks or rattles. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone! Amazing customer service and work carried out, could not be happier with Shelley Transmissions!

   BMW X3, had the prop shaft repaired. Still waiting for my mechanic to put it back on but no doubt would work for years. Couple of mistakes on my part firstly I didn’t quite ask why both sides need doing instead of the 1 but I did ask at the end to which I was told that there’s usually a play when turned clockwise & anticlockwise. However from the videos of which my mechanic sent me of the prop there was no play & also in videos which I made earlier there was no play in them too. But I should have asked sooner & you cannot really question the professionals if you trusted to go to them in the 1st place. Secondly on the phone a day earlier I asked “can you put it back inside the car for me” & the answer was “oh yes we’ll put it back inside the car for you no problems”. I was happy as to me that was a fitted price. At the time they did refuse to fit it within the price claiming that nothing was agreed for fitting it back in. However the guy did stick to his word because he literally did carry it to the car & put it back inside the car for me (in the boot). Just dont make the same mistake as me & clarify in detail for what you having done. Or maybe Shelley’s can go in a little more detail to fully clarify what will be done in what price for a little better customer experience. Either way both ends of the prop repaired in 1 & half hours at the quoted price. Happy with the repair.

   NOT GOOD.Job done eventually after 4 weeks, price went up twice while they had it due to them ordering wrong parts after me telling them what year the truck was, then price up again when they didn't order the clutch 2nd time, on collection damage to side panels showed the "hard man attitude" manager pictures from the day before dropping the truck off with no damage etc nothing done about it at all just excuses. Customer service is a joke only plus side is job eventually got done eventually.

   This company is absolutely brilliant, offers pick up and return items for return and keeps to its dates quick turn round and superb end finish product in my case fully refurbed Volvo F12 steering box. Well done Shelleys , my mechanic is well impressed nice to see some companies still trade in the good old fashioned way.
