I visited MIU at Bodmin Community hospital today after sustaining a dog bite yesterday. I can't praise the staff enough and the cleanliness of the unit was immaculate. Free car parking too.
Have had several outpatient visits and staff have all been lovely. However my husband is in a wheelchair we have found how inadequate the toilets are with being barely large enough to get into and too many oversized bins! Couldn't get into the one upstairs and struggled to access the one on the ground floor.
Vicky your amazing, first lady I met knew straight away I shouldn't be there although I could of done with about a week's rest from stress really. The lady I met first I can't remember her name but I've never met such helpful people with no opinions on Me. All staff brilliant. Although Stanley looks like he thought everyone was mad lol. Thanku all. I needed more time really but hey ho. I can't live without music so had to go. Room warm normal. , I ate loads . They went out there way totally.
Amazing service the nurses and reception were so polite, friendly and reassuring.. free parking whoop whoop but more importantly how professional they all were, fully recommend but please show respect to them as only doing their job and the place was spotless very clean.
The GREATEST hospital ever. An exaggerated statement, yes, but Rebecca, Justine, Denise, etc etc etc have been looking after my Mum and I'll never be able to illustrate my appreciation for their tireless work. London striking Tube Driver's, feel shame.
My mother was admitted as a emergency and the only bed available was Bodmin (we both live in Penzance). It was certainly worth the travelling. lovely hospital, clean and bright, nurses were superb. food was ok (my mother is extremely fussy). Thank you.
Very nice hospital with a well organised administrative staff and friendly volunteers. Plenty of free parking and easy to locate entrance. Didn't look crowded when I visited and the treatment was efficient and quick.
My wife has suffered an urgency. We'd like to appreciate the excellence of the personnel who has attended her. Outstanding!!!! Special thanks to the recepcionist, Clara and Robyn. We really love them for their accurate examination and kind deal. Two days in UK and we are receiving an excellent deal from everyone.
I attended the minor injury unit at Bodmin Hospital this morning and had an excellent experience. The receptionist was absolutely lovely and despite my problem not quite fitting the criteria for the unit she put me through. The triage nurse was equally lovely and saw me within a few minutes. Again, putting me through to the nurses to see if they could help. I didn't have to wait very long before I went through and the nurse saw me, Louise she was called, she was very thorough and was able to get me sorted out very quickly. The level of care and attention I received was first class and wonderfully refreshing in this day and age. 10/10 Bodmin minor injury unit, you are fantastic. Thank you very much.
