Terrible service and really bad attitude. Glad I'm not the only one getting a raw deal and you wonder how such a business that relies purely on the public can be so bad and is still opened? Having read other reviews it's now not a surprise why the shop is so quiet and seriously lacking customers. Perhaps they should swap their premises with their busy rival at George Street since they definitely need a much bigger shop. Definitely, won't be donating anymore items to this ungrateful business since they're clearly not selling any donations nor want any. Word of advice, if your business model depends on public generosity it would help to show more gratitude otherwise people will take their custom and donations elsewhere.

Please don’t go. The staff are incredibly unfriendly, and it’s no surprise the shop is getting quieter and quieter — this is clearly why. I recently spoke to the gentleman at the till and found him rude and cold. It felt like talking to a robot. I asked for a simple favour and was flatly told “no” without any explanation. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a negative experience here. It’s a charity shop — you’re supposed to be doing good and helping the community, but the attitude toward customers says otherwise. A little kindness goes a long way.

AVOID. Not friendly staff at all. The person at the till (an Asian man) is not helpful at all. I’ve been coming in this shop for a few years and since he is here, I enjoy the shop less and less. He never helped me, he’s been rude and looks like he can’t be bothered to work there. I’ll avoid going there and donate my things somewhere else.

I could not believe how rude the staff were at this place. Both staff members were just egging one another on. It was so sad to see as it is a charity shop and those two ladies working today were the least empathetic people I have ever encountered in retail; that is saying a lot seeing as we are in London. So disappointing. Hope they see this and reflect on how they are treating the customers. I was about to buy something but had to put it back because I could not support such an establishment.

Please don't go to this place and donate somewhere else. A person that appears to be the manager, because the other employees go to her, gives the most unpleasant customer service. The way how she talks to you when you are going to donate something is as if she was better than you. I have been twice there and she had been rude towards me, even though the other workers are nice. Things I donate are in a very good condition yet she has always something to say. The charity should look at the people the hire.

This afternoon I went to donate some toys The lady working there was extremely helpful and very thankful That was the only shop in Croydon that was willing to take it. I tried several charity shops and they here refusing to take all toys working and in good condition Hope other children will enjoy

Alice's Attic rehomes pre-loved goods. I have always wanted to visit but due to the current situation their opening hours are short. Finally made it and the range is impressive. There are quality brands and everything looks clean and new.
