   Took my Audi here today to repair scratch. After visiting other garages and being told the scratch is very deep and it will cost several hundred pound, I came here to get a quote. As soon as I arrived I was told they will try to polish it out before doing any repair. Where other garages said it was too deep, they polished the scratch out perfectly. From arriving to leaving it was only 30 minutes. Very friendly service and very good price.

   Poor show. DO NOT USE This goes on but is worth reading. I lease a car and have, and in the past, have used Chips Away to make it good before I have to return it - to avoid any unexpected costs. I did same in March. Chips Away quoted £300 for a couple of little marks on the front bumper. Before collecting Mat, the guy there, said they were having trouble with their spraying machine and it would be collected later than agreed. No problem. I did not closely inspect the job on completion as it had always been good in the past. When the lease company came to collect they charged me £175 for two paint runs on the bumper. First of all they were charging £175 for the runs and Chips away charged £300 for what would be a smaller job in my opinion! So here I paid £475 to return the car. I asked Chips away to reimburse me the £175 as I should not have had to pay this. They said of course. But they did not refund. I have contacted them 3 or 4 times and they keep saying no problem but they do not refund. Realistically they should refund the whole amount £300 as the repair was not fit for purpose,as it was done with a faulty spraying machine. But that is academic as the do not seem to want to refund anything. So what we have learned is that the lease return fees will be less than Chips Away Fees. Chips Away have no integrity - they just want your money. Mat comes across as a nice bloke but clearly no integrity and not to be trusted. I am very disappointed I should be reimbursed the whole amount. I have all the text threads of our conversations if anyone is interested. So in my opinion go somewhere else as they do a shoddy job and while they agree it is a poor job will not honour their duties. I will take this further.
