A fantastic service given! I was on holiday and had the misfortune to injure myself. I went to the MIU at Camborne/Redruth and was given a warm welcome, a wheelchair, booked in and waited approx 5mins for triage, taken straight through to x-ray, and then a short wait for the results. Luckily nothing serious so after a chat was given crutches and sent in my way. The service was top level, everyone was warm and friendly, I was given advice and an exercise leaflet to aid recovery. I couldn’t ask for a better service. Thank you to all the staff
The hospital needs to have barriers in place so people can speak to the receptionist in confidence and not have people standing behind you and breathing down you neck when you are speaking about your issues. A simple sign is not good enough as people don't pay attention
I've had to come to Barncoose Hospital twice lately, and on both occasions the staff were lovely - patient under pressure and always willing to answer questions. The last visit was to get a dressing changed, and I couldn't have wished for better treatment. I was seen bang on my appointment time by such a kind and friendly nurse. The whole experience made me feel much better that day - thank you to you all

Totally outstanding and I cannot find a fault about this hospital! Receptionist was very nice and pleasant, within 15 minutes I was seen seen too and then within 30 minutes the nurse called me in to see me, she stitched me up really nicely and was very nice, she then gave me the information sheets about the dressing etc and said I can go, all within 2 hours of walking into the hospital! :-) Totally over the moon with this remarkable place.
Went here with suspected Severe Acute Pancreatitis, caused by my diabetes. Explained this to the triage nurse and said I was in intense pain. Was kept waiting 4 hours whilst people with minor ailments where seen. Almost at the point of collapse when finally seen. Sent straight to hospital where I was on IV drips and antibiotics with suspected organ failure and pneumonia/collapsed lung. Now at home. RCHT Treliske- 5 stars Camborne Redruth Hospital- 2 stars.
A well run and super clean clinic run by friendly and attentive staff. I wasn't expecting such a good service especially on a Saturday. The whole experience was really heart warming as all the staff show how much they care under difficult times. Thank you all so much!
