Since moving here, I have found the pharmacy team very helpful and always full of advice. Helped with my Malaria tablets with communication. Provided advice for prescription costs even if they didn't need to. Always provide advice when dispensing my medication.
Always incredibly slow. Last week was in here when someone was waiting for the meth to be dispensed, was disgusted to hear the store manager speak to the pharmacist and say 'get it done quick and get home out of here' in a derogatory and unkind manner. The chap in question was causing no issues and did not deserve to be spoken about in such a way. Used to be a really good pharmacy, definitely gone down hill.
This is s small, local store, with nice staff and most everyday items are well stocked. Good parking at rear and some roadside spaces in front too. But the issue I have here is service at the pharmacy. In two years of coming here I have never had a prescription filled in less than 5 days, and once it took 9 days. It should take no more than 2 days, with many other places doing same day service. I do not know why this particular store is so bad at punctuality.
This store has gone even further downhill when I thought that could not be possible. Over the years, thry have consistently taken longer and longer to prepare prescriptions leaving customers including myself increasingly frustrated. I am pleased to say I have now moved to Westdale Pharmacy as I couldn't stand for it any longer. However I visited to buy dome make up today and was left waiting for a ridiculous amount of time, initially all 3 staff members were involved in prescriptions but for a long time after I was glanced at but ignored and not even offered 'We will be with you shortly'. I felt really silly standing there so long so left leaving my items on the counter. I think I could quite easily have put them in my pocket and walked out as it seemed as if I was invisible. This level of customer service is abysmal!!!
Very difficult service. Waited 2weeks for my prescription and I came to the shop 3 times, the staffs still couldn’t get the right prescription, the staff told me the prescription is incorrect and asked me to ask doctor to issue a correct one and there was no apologies said by the staff when I left. I couldn’t get my medicine after 2 weeks my prescription issued. I then went to a small pharmacy called Manns near Coop petrol, they sorted it out in 2mins and even then they said ‘sorry for waiting’. What a joke boots mapperley.
Don't know why there's a phone for this branch as nobody ever answers. Tried on numerous occasions & it rings for ages but never gets answered. Would have given no stars if Google would have aloud.
I went in n asked for men's fragrance the lady helped me really professionally,i would recommend this place to everyone.
The staff always very polite and helpful with all your needs.
Nice little pharmacy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good level of stock and you can even do click and collect so it makes it very handy for Mapperley.
