It was alright. Not much room to dance though because everyone is all pressed together. The music was good though

We always enjoy a CRISIS night and the music is always dependable- definitely make sure to get there early though (at the earliest possible time for your booking), we got the worst table right by the toilets, by the entrance at the back because we arrived a bit late and it kind of ruined the vibe (because you're still paying the same as one of the best tables in the house).

Disgusting and vile behaviour from your staff last night, especially Jamie, the white lady with the glasses. Me and my friends were treated atrociously. We waited in the queue at box for an hour, then waited with a queue position of 224 for a further 90 minutes. We spent £49 cumulatively on tickets between 7 of us. They sold us the crisis tickets at 1:58am for 7 people on one receipt (receipt states you have 10 minutes to get inside of the club), we then walked over as a group instantly and three of us were allowed through however the other 4 got left even though they read one receipt for all 7 of us. We proceeded to question the bouncer on why only half of the members on the receipt were allowed in. They said that it was past last entry time (2am) and that they wouldn’t let the other half of our group in?????????? We were extremely confused and frustrated as they saw our receipt before last entry but only let half of us walk through the gate? We continued to explain that we had friends from Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester that were unable to get home because their train tickets were booked as a return after the night had finished. They also said they would not fully refund the ticket as 3 members were already allowed in. The three members that were allowed in left instantly and they still didn’t offer a full refund. We wasted uber money, over 2 hours of time, train ticket money and alcohol money to drink at box just to be disrespected. 0/10 would not recommend unless you want to receive derogatory treatment and want to pay £50 to wait in the cold for 2 hours.

You can literally never go wrong with a good Crisis night, love a good midweek night out with mates and Rock City is THE perfect venue for such a student night. The DJ knows exactly what he’s doing and never (re)mixes songs the wrong way. You get confetti every now and then and probably inflatables as well if you’re lucky.
