   Just want to say a massive thank you to the bouncer that most likely saved my life last night, some guy had been eying me up all night but waited until I was at my drunkest to grab me on my way out and wouldn't let go begging me for my number, all I had to do was look at the bouncer as if "get him off me" he was straight there and made him leave, he waited outside with me until my dad come and grabbed us, I can't stop thinking about it and what could of happened if it wasn't for this bouncer, thank you so much

   My friend and colleague was in Mansfield last Friday along with a group of friends. On walking onto Clumber Street half of his group were approaching the door to enter Dusk. A young female who was offering promotion vouchers approached the group which my friend was part of, on seeing them pulled back the voucher, before commenting "too old" my friend was at the least gobsmacked that this comment was made, especially as there was around 14 of them. It seems that ageism is indeed alive and well in the night scene in town. And obviously the venue are happy to turn away a large group of "older" drinkers who would have boosted their sales as on him walking past noticed that the club was somewhat empty at that time . Perhaps management need to be reminded that ageism is illegal, so perhaps need to remind their staff, that such comments are not only annoying, to some people upsetting, but also illegal. And this could be used against them. The one star was given as the lowest available, as for the others, obviously due the group not entering the venue couldn't comment.

   Enjoyed the dinner with friend and family. Food made fresh and tasted good, busy place but served quick. Kids enjoyed the play sheets available at the Pub, did puzzle and sketch. Drinks served cold and seating area was comfortable. It’s in the main junction so have to park car at hill and walk down the street.

   was ok music was good company was good drink was good bar staff was great but the games of beer ponk was a bit disgusting and the ball went on floor and then in beer so not the greatest of games to play

   Well run, nice atmosphere. Bar and security staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Loud music (good) and plenty of space to dance. Toilets clean but out of paper before the end of the night. Good selection of drinks. Plenty of comfortable seating

   Great place to go for a few shots and a night of fun. Security team that where on thursday where friendly. However... Please understand that this is not a complaint about afterdark but nightclubs in general! Like any crowded place dont let any possessions out of your site. Also bear in mind people bump into you a lot so pickpocketing is easy there. Ladies would highly suggest phone stays in the bra for safety
