   An established man made lake fed by the river Penk. Far too many Canadian geese, they used to be culled. With ducks as well its more a case of being able to tread on tarmac. Due to people feeding the wild birds, its highly likely you will see rats yards away from the shops.

   This was a lovely place to walk around with the children but sadly on our last walk around we saw six rats running around boldly in broad daylight.

   Pleasant flat walk, be careful of slippery parts of the path especially when its icy, around the lake complete with water birds, but only the birds are swimming :) There is now an Outdoor Gymnasium with equipment located strategically around the lake near the footpath :)
