I had my flu and COVID vaccines today at BJ Wilson’s in Borrowash and wanted to share how outstanding the experience was. Both the lovely nurse practitioner and the pharmacist, Sunil, were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and reassuring throughout. What really stood out was the level of care and attentiveness — they both took the time to listen, and Sunil went above and beyond by spending around 20 minutes with me, offering advice and guidance about some health concerns I’d been worried about. His kindness, patience and expertise made such a difference, and I left feeling informed, supported and genuinely cared for. I’m so grateful for the excellent service and compassionate care I received today. Thank you to Sunil and the whole team at BJ Wilson’s for providing such an outstanding level of patient care.

Went in for a blood pressure check with Debbie. She very clearly explained both the procedure and the results and made me feel very at ease. No “white coat syndrome” here! Overall a very positive experience.

Lovely staff and very helpful. Pharmacist is brilliant! Get seen quickly if needed and incredibly helpful. Also can tell he does want to help and not just get you out of the door.

Amazing experience at Wilson’s! The whole team were great! Polite and efficient! Helped me with an emergency prescription in less than 10 minutes. The pharmacist talked me through every step of the way! They are always happy to help and assist everytime I go in! Thank you

Fail to text when a prescription is ready to collect despite me signing up for that service. Taking over a week to make a prescription up and when arrive to collect I find staff abrupt and unfriendly.

Terrible experience where the chemist questioned me on the amount of tablets that were prescribed by a doctor as if it was made up somehow. This was done by speaking loudly in front of customers, I don't want people knowing what medication I take and how much. ????? The chemist closing up for an hour lunch break every day is not acceptable for me so I have now changed the pharmacy which I have given a five star review.

This was a great local pharmacy, during the pandemic they were all great until one day we were queueing, only 3 in the shop, a little old lady came to queue so i let her Infront of me, yes this meant it was 4 in the shop, but she was next to an open door. The tall blonde pharmacist came stomping out and shouted at the top of her voice in the lady's direction "IT SAYS ONLY 3 IN THE SHOP, GO WAIT OUTSIDE." i was amazed and felt awful for the old lady. anyway, from that day the place went downhill. i have many serious ailments (since covid) and i need my medications as soon as possible. but I'd call the doctors, to be told it was sent days before to Wilsons, then I'd call Wilsons to be told its not there. I had to call head office to complain about this. For a short while it did improve, but now again, they have had my inhalers i desperately need. I am sick of calling 1st before i go in. Yes, there is a very snotty lady that works there, i have had attitude off her a few times. when your sign reads 'verbal abuse will not be tolerated; maybe i should wear it when i come in too hey?!!!!

I've had nothing but excellent customer service from all the staff at this pharmacy. Nothing is too much trouble. I am grateful for the person centred care & attention I receive here. Very grateful for your help, advice and support. (The pharmacy where I was before were awful so I do appreciate really great service as I have experienced the really bad)

I have just been to collect my 2 week old Daughters prescription to be served by a snotty member of staff to say it won’t be ready for another hour an half as the pharmacist has just gone on his break. I said the doctor did send it over as urgent early this morning as we are leaving to go away now. I said if you can’t give it me, please send the prescription to Wales and I will collect from a chemist there. To be shouted at NO ITS HERE, IT NEEDS CHECKING. So abrupt and just no need. In front of other customers and my 3 year old. The pharmacist came out of his office and asked if there was a problem. He asked what the name was and passed me the prescription with no issues. The attitude of the female staff member is appalling. She continued to serve another customer, to then tell that customer that the pharmacist has had to leave his dinner break to serve me and that he might now get indigestion! How very rude.
