Escape to the country and soak up the fresh air, the sound of birds and the stunning scenery. I absolutely love this place, I've stayed 3 times and each time has been a pleasure. Nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside, this is a place where you can escape all the stresses of daily life. It's picturesque landscape, selection of well equipped, clean cottages and cute farm animals makes it the perfect place to retreat to. Cathy is a really welcoming host, providing guests with flowers from three garden and hedgerows plus delicious homemade scones. The cottages are lovely, homely, with everything you need and lots of charm. Oldaport is perfectly situated for beautiful beaches, Dartmoor, and Plymouth. There's a brilliant selection of country pubs, restaurants and cafes to keep you all fed if you don't fancy cooking. We'll definitely return.

Our favourite place to stay. Cottages with lots of room, they are well equipped, clean and spacious. Cathy is always so lovely and helpful! ☺️ It's lovely to see the sheep, horses and new lambs on our visit every spring.

Set your compass (or sat nav) and travel the tall hedged lanes of South Hams to Oldaport Farm, for an authentic farm cottage break, situated not far from the sea, and near the town of Modbury (which boats two wonderful pubs/restaurants, and some other nice shops). Yes, it's a farm so sheep and an early good morning from a cockerel or two! The accommodation is good, with off-road parking and should anything not be good, then Cathy is often to be found around the place as its a working farm, and only to able to help, that said and should you wish you can get your food order from Tesco or Sainsbury delivered to your cottage in advance of your arrival (on the day you arrive). Our first time, but many return, and return again and I know why and will be amongst their number.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. Cathy was very welcoming, the fresh out of the oven scones were so good. Excellent accommodation for a tranquil getaway from the city. Very serene with beautiful landscape and scenery. Noise free for 3 days, just trees, grass and sky for your company. The cottage was superb, very clean and cosy, equipped with almost everything you need. Highly recommended for a quiet peaceful getaway.
