The park is lovely however the cafe left us feeling confused. Went to order food to be told there was no oil to cook our chips in. The table in front of us had just been served their meal including chips. Feeling somewhat confused we said well forget the chips we will just have toasted sandwiches. The young lad serving said you can't have them, I asked why not, to be told because we are not cooking. This was 12.50 so unless the 3 staff hanging around at the same time as the smirky guy serving, had suddenly lost the ability to cook in the 5 or so minutes the table in front of us had been served I have no idea what on earth this was about.

amazingly large area of natural beauty, which you can walk through to himley hall, bonus! the only thing is no maps available and the ranger never seems to be available in his station which is where you get them from apparently, great for walking, nice little cafe (slightly overpriced) toilets, playground for the kids, adventure park which we're yet to try out, plenty of parking and not unreasonably priced!

A very good place for walking! It has easy and hard ones, I did a hard one and nearly died as very steep haha but amazing!! Hundreds of trees and birds and there's a nice cafe on site! The ice cream was beautiful after our walk!

Great place for a sunny walk, car parking available £3 all day using coins or phone app. food and drink available. seating for picnics etc. Plenty of space to wonder. Lake and nature reserve. Small ride on train and play area for kids. An adventure area for the bigger kids too. (Adults) with zip wire and climbing etc. Not bad way to spend a sunny day. Can get bit crowded.

One of the West Midlands hidden gems, if you like walking, there are plenty of paths to follow. There is a small charge for parking so you need change for the meters. There are plenty of car parking spaces on the day we went, although we can imagine it will be busy in the summer months. You can have a hot drink, snacks, or ice creams at the cafe which is on site. The images I took on the day do not do it justice as it was damp and overcast. There is a good-sized play area for the children with large sand pit.

Lovely place to walk cycle or picnic, created by landscaping slag heaps from the coal mine which closed in 1968. The whole forest has grown up in that time although some of the pools were already part of Himley Hall grounds. Fishing by permit only. The tall chimney gives the park character and is a reminder of the past.
