   I don't really normally do this but I feel that the people are incapable to do the job! Or just don't listen or care. I have good and bad reviews. My 1st order was spot on, no problem at all. My 2nd order I clearly stated and written what I wanted but they got it (completely wrong) but I will say (I purchased a new shirt) and they did re do it correctly. 3rd order!!!! I physically gave them a shirt to copy and they got it wrong. Yes they have said to return it so they can correct it, but I'm not happy with the quality of the embroidery and now have little faith with them. 2 mistakes out 3 times something needs looking into. As I say I don't like doing this sort of thing especially to local businesses but so disappointed.

   Amazing customer service, the staff are so helpful and went above and beyond for my order when I couldn't arrange to collect it. Good quality uniform that has withstood the test of time with my teenage son but unfortunately not pubescent growth spurts! They don't provide you with uniform that fits for now and will only last 5 minutes they measure and accommodate for growing kids so it's good value for money when you consider how long they last. Thank you so much for such a pleasant interaction!

   The new owners have vastly improved the service at Hamiltons. This is a great little shop if you like to customise your own clothes as they now let you design your own prints for tshirts and stuff. The embroidery options are really cool as well!

   I purchased items for St Thomas Ilkeston. Whilst accepting reopening under the restriction imposed by Covid-19 means change there is no excuse for the shabby way in which they operate. Underhand practices mean they are taking advantage of parents making an essential purchase of school uniform. Please refer to the phot in my review which is a screen grab of their website sting that they will not accept returns. Given that understandably you cannot try items on you may be forced to order multiple sizes one of which you will never get you money back for the incorrect item. Know your consumer rights as this is against the law. I was advised by phone that fittings will only be considered for full uniform purchased from them............... In the case of St Thomas I have been fortunate in that item that require trying on have been purchased from an alternative shop who are operating within the law and allow returns. This has been reported to Derbyshire trading standards. Staff were rude on two occasions. Firstly when chasing my order as I had received no form of order acknowledgment for items ordered online a week after paying. The second time was upon collection when I politely told the lady at the shop door that I rang top advise I was here to collect as requested but there was no answer. Her abrupt reply was ''WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WE ARE BUSY'. Very nice I was only explaining why it could be perceived that I has not called as requested. The only positive is that the book bag is of a good quality albeit the embroidery does not match that advertised on Hamiltons website. The PE bag is shoddy at best and had clearly been dropped on the floor multiple times as was covered in dust, again the logo was different from that advertised. The elasticated ties are awful quality and will need replacing. The lesson here is never to use them again. I am just pleased there is an alternative as I suspect some local school uniform can only be purchased at this sad excuse of a retail outlet. Such a shame as its good to shop local if possible.

   We've been using Hamiltons for over 10 years now and highly recommend them. The staff have always been friendly and their prices have always been reasonable. Recently we had a very urgent order for an embroidered logo order for a Christmas. Kelly was exceptionally helpful and rushed the order through on their last day before closing for the Christmas holidays.

   Absolutely disgusted in this xonpamy. Ordered a blazer for my son for school. I was told it would be ready that day as I needed ir the following day only to find out it wasn't ready. The lady in the shop was very rude and not professional at all. I will never use these again.
