Le Navet Bete bring a brilliant show to The Northcott. I cried with laughter and my kids loved it, said it was the highlight of the Christmas holiday, no mean feat with teenagers. Jack and the beanstalk is a very traditional pantomime but expect the unexpected . As cheesy as it should be and quite risqué, would love to see the adults only version! Acrobatics, great singing, hilarious cringe local references and plenty to sing along to. Everything a panto should be, thank you. Only gripe being the upper bar area: plenty of lovely food and drink choices but sadly not enough seating and the only downstairs seating area with the more minimal bar was close to both the toilets and the drafty front door. Other than that, a seamless delivery from all staff and the show itself. Will be following Le Navet Bete now to see their range!

For the second consecutive year we travelled from Bournemouth to go the pantomime with our Exeter-based grandkids. The Jack and the Beanstalk production was superb. Unlike many pantos there was no weak link in the cast or "wooden celebrity". The company demonstrated a great range of performing skills throughout. It is invidious in some ways to single out one performer - but I don't think there can be many better Dames in the UK. In summary, a joyous, vibrant performance of the highest quality.

We watched their pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk. The theatre was comfortable, the queues for refreshments were reasonable, and the show was great. It featured Le Navet Bete in the panto, if you have never seen them perform, you are missing a treat!

Went to see the Rock Orchestra. Great building although actually getting up staircase seemed very chaotic and claustrophobic as very narrow. Seating was good and fairly comfy. Service for drink was fast and freindly. I checked car park info before we left on uni website which advised visitors to use car park C. This is tiny and was obviously completely full. We decided to head to car park B by football pitches - it was empty - information was that we would still need to pay via app even though this was 8pm.

Visited the Northcott Theatre on Saturday 11th October to watch a performance of The Ex Men. The show was brilliant, very informative and funny. I’m registered blind therefore my son asked if they had audio description sets I could use. This was also amazing, I would not really have known what was happening on stage but the audio description brought the whole thing to life. I really enjoyed the evening, the show was excellent, the staff was very helpful, prices in the bar was also good.

I'm loving the Northcott Theatre, both through my 54yr old, post Covid eyes and those of the 15yr old, theatre loving youngster, alongside me. We have seen comedy, drama and dance in the dance 6 mths and come away wowing every time. But, I would like clearer signage from the main road to the Theatre and a clearer entrance! For some reason I do get "lost" (which adds to the comedy of the evening). Also, it would be superb if the amazing discounts for Under 25s on many seats was more easily triggered to the inexperienced user of the booking system. I block booked a few performances over Christmas and later realised many of the tickets for my 15 Yr old could have been only £5! Imagine how many more trips I would be doing if I had realised this. The future of Theatre is all about under 30s enjoying live shows and going, so I would implore the Northcott to increase it's endeavours in this crucial area.

This is a great venue. We went to see the London Film Orchestra play the music of John Williams and Hans Zimmer, and it was spectacular.

Nice venue with good view from most seats. Good roster of events to suit all. Parking nearby good and free after 1800. Expensive drinks so marked down for that.

I attended the Lost N Music show on Nov. 6 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The singers and their band were great! It was almost sold out from what I could tell. Everyone was on their feet dancing and singing along. Excellent show!
