I will recommend Bluecoat Academy to any parent who is looking for good multi culture secondary school for their children.
Bad School. Year leader holds a grudge against me for something for over 2 years. I know it was my fault but I changed a lot and he still sees me the same way and treats me different. I won't disclose the name or things I / He did.
My time at Bluecoat as been memorable with many happy memories. The staff want students to achieve their best. Support is available to help students grow throughout their school life and beyond.
Used to be a really good school from which students would end up with descent grades and have good prospects. However, this was 10-15 years ago. Now, the school is just ridding off of that reputation. Teachers are constantly changing, students are not motivated to excel. Average to below average teaching as quality varies across subjects. Students are being let down.
Very good school... Would personally like to shout out Mrs Thomas, Mr Craven, Mr Shafique, Mrs Cover and Mr Gardner. All of the other teachers are still very good and dedicated to the children as well.
