   Incredible school. They prioritize application over theory and exams, their approach is very practical and modern. I think staff are very friendly and helpful, and they allowed me to take more time to complete my program. I am thankful for everything and see a lot of value in remote and self-paced learning, which this school allows. I am a working professional in the field, and I value this schools approach a lot, as it has helped me to complete and supplement my practical experience with more theory and application & validated my skills.

   I undertook the Professional Soft Furnishings Diploma. I had dabbled with sewing over the years but only ever cobbling things together. I had a yearning to make things properly and a curiosity of how things could be made precisely and perfectly. The course has fulfilled this yearning and my curiosity. It is so well organised and although I did the course completely online, it was very clear to follow and the support from my tutor, Sarah, was second to none. I cannot fault the course in any way. It has enabled me to begin working for myself along side my part time job. I recently undertook my first commission for a large pair of lined curtains with 100% success. I do have to stop, think and take my time more than someone with more experience but the course has equipped me with a valuable resource of notes and the samples we made are indispensable. If I am unsure about anything, I simply refer back to these. I also feel that I have developed my skills enough to enable me to tackle other soft furnishings that were not featured in the course such as lampshades and box seat cushions. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the modules and would not hesitate in recommending this course to anyone looking to improve their skills, learn something new or set themselves up for a new career.    I'd always seen this building from afar and was in awe. Following a career change decision, I attended an open day here and I was hooked. Wonderfully helpful staff, excellent resources for distance learning, a brilliant background of experience from everyone, and I'm currently half way through my diploma. I would recommend to everyone wanting to get into the Interior Design Industry to come here!

   It’s been a while since I completed the interior design diploma (at home course), but finally able to put it to good use decorating our new house and helping my daughter with mood boards for hers. The Tutor was always available and responded to my requests very quickly, due to different ailments it was a bit of a slow process for me and took a year to finish but my tutor and her support staff were very compassionate and understanding of my situation. Feedback was always fair and advise always adequate. As a family, we are very grateful for this course, my siblings ask for advice regularly and it’s a pleasure to be able to give it. I am now looking into the soft furnishings course in the hope of starting when things return to normal...
