I accidentally stumbled across this supermarket, I liked that I could park here, I found the type of trolly they had useful as it’s not too big or too small, the shop itself has a great range of products including a butcher, cakes and pastries, cleaning products and lots of other food options. Absolutely brilliant I was like a child in a sweet shop there is so much new to me to eat can't wait to go back for another visit also the staff and the customers are very polite and helpful lovely people
I shop regularly here, finding a wide range of products that are hard to get elsewhere, as well as things that are exceptionally good. The bakery is excellent - far better bread in than in most supermarkets, and even with recent price increases still good value. Great cabbage and sausage rolls made with brioche dough - particularly fresh for breakfast. Terrific cakes that you can buy by weight. Much the best cooked meat section in the city and, in assessing the prices we need to compare like with like: just try to find such good products as cheap as this. What is more, the staff will cut for you exactly the quantity you need. Excellent freshly-cooked meat loaves, a good range of Eastern European cheeses, pierogi, a big Romanian section, lots of keenly-priced beers, kvast, etc. A good range of pickles in jars, as well as dried pasta, coffee, condiments. Also a lot of offers and promotions, usually posted in the window. Lots of families and construction workers pick up lunch here, so you know the value is good.
I took my Ukrainian guest to buy authentic food, that she was unable to find in Asda. She was impressed, especially with the fresh meat counter. I thought prices were quite high, but everything is expensive at the moment. Shopping here made my guest smile, so we will come again.
