2 years at this college and teachers did not show up to lessons, they were late to giving out any information whether it was timetables or telling us teachers will be off. Strike action happened whilst I was studying here and got no teaching for a few weeks and no help. Luckily didn’t have to sit my exams due to Covid but would not recommend this college.

I came here for my a levels, most of the staff are lovely however one teacher never came to lessons, was always off and clearly having a midlife crisis, the psychology teacher Chrissy is awesome for lessons and I learnt the most from her. I think its discusting how they're not getting paid appropriately, and how any hours they all have to put in and they dont get pay rises?! The directors of this school are raking it in but won't give decent wages. I dont blame the teachers protesting. I have just been told 7!! members of staff that I know Have quit. No ones going to get a good quality of learning here now, i had a very disrupted 2 years when I was there too. Especially in sociology.

I am emailing to complaine about the strikes that are taking place. My child has already lost a month of valuable learning and I have recently recived a letter informing of ongoing planned strikes. This is very wrong, many students including my own are losing very valuable learning. If the strikes continue it will be two months worth of learning that is lost. If this continues it will have a large impact on my child’s studies, and how is he supposed to cover two months of learning through online without a teacher to guide and teach him. A teacher’s job is to teach their student and give them a good start in life through education and now this job is not being fulfilled. I have had good regards and views of this college however if this carries on I will not hesitate to take actions such as through reviews. I hope you, the staff, will sort this problem swiftly. If I could give one star I would I’m currently in my second year at high pavement and have had many issues with teachers not coming to lessons and not completing the correct work that we need for our courses I’ve made 3 formal complaints to this college and non have been taken seriously I’m currently reporting this college to OFSTED for neglection with learning and poor teaching standards. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this college the stress it’s not worth it and the chances of you receiving support here are slim. It has the protential to become a great college however it isn’t

Good overall and gets you the grades/a-levels. However, vert disorganised, had problems with teachers not showing to lessons and little loading between staff.
