   I knew Salterford was a great school when soon after sending our 1’st child to oreprep I was chatting to a dad and his 15 year old about my sons school and when I mentioned Salterford the teenager couldn’t help but express how much he loved his time there rather than grunt and show no interest in the conversations like I would have expected from most 16 years old boys……… That being said our experience of Salterford have also been fantastic. We have sent 2 kids through the school and I couldn’t recommend Salterford highly enough. It’s so refreshing to experience a school that genuinely has a rounded and individual approach to both formal learning and the developing the softer life skills in kids. Which in our experience results in a confident, happy, caring and bright children who maximise their potential and leave Salterford with an inquisitive nature and thurst for more knowledge.

   When i went to Salterford House School it was the most fun school that i have ever been to. All the teachers were super nice and they got me to where i am today and the pupils and friends that i had there were just incredible. That school was my favourite school no matter what.

   This is such an amazing school that achieves fantastic academic results. Small class sizes coupled with a nurturing environment are perfect to get the best from my children. They are both performing above their expected level for their ages and that is surely down to the fantastic teaching. The woodland grounds are explored every day by the children during playtime and lessons which provide them with fantastic access to nature and further learning and exploration. The head teacher knows every pupil by name and exactly where they are socially and academically. Wonderful!

   My son has been going here since he was 2 and a half. He is now 6 and currently in Year 1. He loves going to school in the mornings and it is not a chore to get him out of bed. We absolutely love this school and think that it is amazing. The teachers are so friendly and do an excellent job with the children. The head mistress is there every morning to greet each child into school by name. This school is so friendly and has a very family feel to it. You will often see the older children playing and helping the younger ones.
