   Initial call from Mitchell's was very courteous, arranging delivery for the following day. On the day I had a call from the driver who, unfortunately sounded quite brusk and fairly annoyed that he needed to reverse up our close (he obviously knew the area) but said he'd be with me in 30 minutes. 15 mins later he called back to say the delivery he was currently making was not where he thought so he'd be another 30 minutes. He arrived an hour later. His opening greeting was to tell me in no uncertain terms that he hoped I wasn't expecting him to unload as they don't unload the pallet. Maybe he'd had a bad day, who knows, but he wasn't the most polite driver I've ever come across. Fortunately I do know a couple of the drivers for Mitchell's and know this isn't their usual standard.

   Excellent experience with this delivery company. Easy tracking info with updated delivery time on the day, plus a call from the driver with his expected arrival. Our delivery was a double length pallet, which was dropped as close to our house as possible, our lane is unadopted so for us this was amazing! Driver was fab, cheerful and friendly, definitely went above and beyond. Thank you!

   ***NOT JUST FOR THE BIG COMPANYS, FOR THE INDEPENDENTS ASWELL**** So this was my second time using mitchells, I didn't review on the first as you never know if the first one was simply great luck, We are a small family business. Based in Nottingham, We went to purchase some pallets in wolverhampton and ended up buying 3 large ones. So July 2nd we arranged to take 1 small pallet in our car and decided to use sendapallet website instead of opening a company account direct through mitchells, so we could pay straight away and have no issues. We met the driver on July 2nd in a very difficult space for an Arctic, the driver was professional and actually spoke to the warehouse owner to organise the best way to collect as he had never been there before where as the warehouse owner knew the best way to get arctic access no issues at all, I chatted with the driver, lovely fellow and we put the world to rights while he was loaded, he was away without a hitch. So it comes to today, getting regular delivery updates we met HALEY who was dropping off at our container. Absolutely wonderful woman,and an incredible person as it was an awkward drop and I was fretting about it to be honest, Haley looked around and advised the best way to do it. Lovely woman. She listened, we talked and it felt like I'd known her years...I've not met a single driver from mitchells that is simply drop and go with a do not approach feel. I've met 3 different drivers, all of which are knowledgable, approachable and engaging. This note is especially for independent businesses if you are growing... when you are weighing up hiring a van against booking a collection. A van hire would hit you about £140+ fuel + your time lost and alot more hassle...this was cheaper, easily organised and managed, saved us a lot of time. Thanks Mitchell's you are truly great. Perfect service for the little guys. We will be opening an account for sure!

   As a domestic customer who regularly has pallet deliveries for various projects, I always look forward to the Mitchell's team turning up! Their drivers are always pleasant & courteous. This morning was no different! Adam even gave us a few minutes of his time & waited for us to offload from the pallet and check the delivery was correct, and undamaged! No other companies I deal with do this so willingly, and can make it quite awkward for us at the point of delivery to do these necessary checks. Thanks again Mitchells.

   We have been working with Michell's of Mansfield for a long time. We receive a fabulous service and Hayley our driver is friendly, helpful and does what she can to assist us at all times. She brightens up our day, with her smiley face and positive attitude and never complains about when our carpark is full and she has to navigate the lorry into tight spaces.

   My pallet was subbed to another company by Mitchell’s and is now from what I can gather lost, I’ve been told three different delivery days to which it never showed up and I’ve not been told anything until I’ve phoned. Told they don’t have the trucking company’s number for me to call. Forever waiting for emails back from the “subbed company” to be told another false delivery day. Shocking to say the least. Would not recommend as this has now cost me majorly waiting for the item the pallet contains as well as the original cost and extra postage charges.

   I don’t really know what to say but after joining Mitchells in June 2021 and this being my first driving job I wasn’t too sure what to expect having come from a totally different industry In a male driven environment. Well this has been the biggest surprise of my life with the way the team at Mitchells have looked after me both other drivers and the office staff , even down to Tom Mitchell himself. Nothing is too much trouble for them to help and guide you through a very busy and difficult environment. If you are new to this industry and want the best help and advice these are the guys for you.
