The beach is incredibly hard to access as my friend is in a wheelchair and we were told it’s incredibly accessible. You have to go down about 400 steep steps and they are very mossy and slippy so be careful!! Surf lesson was ok for the most part but waves weren’t good and we were promised good waves. Instructors were quite good but didnt give very good feedback, they just chatted to each other

My sons had a surf lesson with Dan thus week. It was easy to arrange and schedule the lesson. Access to beach is a bit difficult but worth it. Park at top snd walk down ignore Google maps suggesting you can drive down.

Had a great group surf lesson with Dan during October half-term. He actually watched and coached us individually as we caught our waves - I have never had this much live feedback in a group lesson! He genuinely wanted to see us improve and worked hard to check-in on everyone in the group. Super friendly and helpful, I highly recommend!

We had a couple of marvellous visits during the summer to the Adventure Bay Surf School. Dan was absolutely fantastic with our youngest granddaughter and let her sit on his board whilst we paddle boarded along the coast from Tregonhawke beach to just past Freathy beach. The conditions were perfect and we saw little compass jellyfish and learnt all about their ecosystems. We loved it so much that we went back for a surf lesson when the wind came! Dan was so good with our youngest granddaughter and she can't wait to come back and visit when they next come to stay. Thanks Dan - brilliant service, awesome experiences and we look forward to seeing you again! Kirsty & Barry, Rowse Farm

Great surf lessons at a beautiful bay - a real gem. And good contact when booking and with the trainers Ruby and Yan! They made sure we had the right timing for awesome waves. We did two days and we really could see the benefit of moving beyond the super beginner level!

We have been using AB Surf school for the last 2 years and we will continue to use them for many years to come! Our daughter attends the Surf Club, and has grown in confidence, skill, and enthusiasm. A fantastic team of knowledgeable coaches! Thanks guys

Thank you so much for everything Dan! I’m so excited to be bringing my friends back to you this year. you're just really good at what you do, and i was really lucky to have you as a teacher. After seeing people in way better shape than me completely fail to do something you made really simple (4 easy steps for surfing) I kinda feel really grateful for the time you gave me & Tom. Also. Great price for suit and board hire!

Great surf lesson, instructor (Dan), place and life guards. Only 4 stars as poor facilities. You park at the top of the cliff and go down to the beach following a pedestrian access road with steps at the end. A bit challenging the way back.

My children (aged 10) had a fantastic group surf session with Andy at Adventure Bay Surf School, they loved every second and were begging to go back and have another go. Really easy online booking process and such a lovely location.
