Avoid! I chose this school for their values ethos but the school doesn’t lead by any of this. All teaching time is taken up with teachers putting girls in reset for their skirts being too short! In reset they miss the following 3 lessons & a lunch break. Asked school to keep an eye on my child due chemotherapy & mastectomy happening at home & was told by head of year - they don’t have the provisions for this. All it would have taken was ‘are you ok?’ To said child I removed my child from the school part way through 2nd year as head of year was an absolute bully.

Horrible skl teachers suspended me bc my button on my skirt was broken. so I couldn’t put it on I came in with a note n they said if I don’t put one of there skirts on I would be sent to reset. but the skirt they wanted me to put on was dirty n also had buttons missing n when they call parents about it they always switch up the story and make it sound worse then what acc happened. pls don’t send your kids there as it will ruin your kids mental health and the girls are vile and will make sure your kid is one of the most hated kids there.

Its not a bad school, it's changed a lot and is now actually a respectable and good school that I would say leaves students with a balanced outlook. The quality of teaching is good, there are sometimes strange descisions but all in all, as public schools go, it's good

If i could it would be 0 stars. I was bullied and they did nothing. I am depressed probably because of this school. This among us was one of the only good things.

extremely one sided, preaches mental health but throws it back in your face, saying things like “you’ve gone back to square 1” “you were doing really well and now your failing” not supportive at all.

My daughter started at Callington in October 2020 after we moved down from London. The change in my daughter since starting at Callington is amazing. She is outgoing, confident and sociable, I could not be happier with the change in my daughter and the school have had a massive part in that. I feel like she has found her identity and happiness, I can not thank the teachers enough.

There were some fantastic teachers here. They mostly left when the school started failing due to poor management. Horrible administration, not very encouraging, was focused on image (grades), not the interests or passions of students. Also: bullying.
