Really insightful to hear two first hand accounts from different perspectives. Couldn’t recommend strongly enough, best thing we did in Belfast. Frank and Mickie were both great.
Great fun experience which provided a different but enjoyable evening activity. Very knowledgeable tour guide who added his personal experiences onto this ghost tour. Having lived in Belfast for 4 years if was great to learn about the history with a different (spooky) perspective. We weren’t lucky with the weather but very enjoyable nonetheless! Very good value for money - but wrap up warm!
I did the Halloween Ghost Story and Tour at Belfast City Centre, and it was truly one of the best ghost tours I have done. We all got headphones with a little sound box so we could hear the tour guide Francis. We started in the oyster room where we heard very interesting stories, and then we proceeded to the tour. We had quite a large group of around 40 people but it was ensured that everyone was able to see and hear. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and I highly recommend this to anyone coming to Belfast.
Did the ‘Mean Streets, murders and body snatchers’ walking tour of Belfast. Such an interesting evening, Francis really knows his stuff! Must do in Belfast!

We spent yesterday as mother and son seeing Northern Ireland the way you won’t and can’t see it from a coach tour! You need a Belfast Lad local to get the abandoned castles, fairy stories, giants causeway, dark hedges, real fish and chips, cemeteries, ghosts, vanishing lakes, and a hear a first hand, balanced, hopeful view of Belfast. Literally, everything you want in one tour! This is the tour you want! Stop googling and just trust this 45 year old mom with her 12 year old boy! It was the experience I will return to with my other child!
An astounding account of the troubles in general and of Frank’s experiences as both a civilian and in the British army. Well worth the time and expense.
Went on the Ghost Tour today and would highly recommend. Very informative and knowledgeable guide and really different view of Belfast!!!
