Dreadful place, staff so rude and totally expressionless, no knowledge whatsoever, you need to look at your communication skills training in regard to speaking to the public, will not be returning there
Pharmacy staff are always so rude every time I come in. Was in the other day trying to pick up something my GP told me to use and the woman behind the counter was terrible. Stated I had to pay, which I would’ve been fine with, but since I am prescribed another medication if the same variety I wanted to know what I was actually paying for as the one I was there to collect was sent by my GP. She was very blunt, told me I just had to tick an exemption box, but if it was wrong I’d get fined. I continuously asked her if having it sent by the GP was classed as exemption and she would either not answer or give me a snarky and sarcastic reply. As someone who is still quite young and trying to learn how to be an independent adult this is so frustrating and quite upsetting. She was so hostile I ended up not even taking my medication because she was being so unhelpful and rude. After this experience (and a handful of others) I’m changing pharmacy
Served with the Pharmacy medicines I needed by a very polite and friendly young female assistant on duty over a Saturday lunchtime. Very good service
Avoid. Unreliable. Had a vaccine booked weeks in advance. Received multiple messages reminding me of the appointment. Then they rang me up a few hours before telling me it has to be ordered in and they are cancelling my appointment.
Boots do not take £50 notes. With inflation these notes are becoming increasingly common. I walked across to Holland and Barrett to buy some items - no problem tendering my £50 note there. After all it is legal tender. The special offer signage is very misleading as some of the type and graphics is very small - these need to be reviewed.
Checked on the Internet that they closed at 5.30pm.Went to pharmaceutical counter to collect a prescription at 5.02 pm and was told face to face "We closed at 5pm" Will not be going there again.
What a shocking experience when to pick up my prescription which was being sent from the boots branch at the BRI to Kingswood branch I was told by the assistant they never had my prescription, so I politely asked if they could give there other branch a ring as I didn't have a phone on me just to confirm when they will receive it and the assistant refused and told me they won't receive my prescription for at least at least a week lol, so when I got I home I phoned the bri and they said it would be delivered the next day customer service Sux won't us again.
Not the friendliest of staff here. They seem to regularly change the position to pay here which has lead to confusion and frustration from customers. The place looks a complete mess here and very untidy inside
I went there today on the off chance that my prescription would be available, unfortunately it wasnt due to no fault of their own. The girl who served me, Emma I think her name was, explained what had happened and got things sorted for me and gave me some medication to tide me over until my prescription came through! So for that, I thank her!
Very limited stock and it is really hard to know how it works. They have two regular tills and one for prescriptions, but the few times I've been there they tend to be empty and cashiers move around from one to another. There are no indications about where to queue or where to pay so it is very confusing. The stock is quite limited and things that according to the web should be on sale have full price.
