    There was not enough brine. I could hardly survive with the sheer lack of brine in the facilities.

    After only about 6 months of being at sands I am proud to say that it has changed my life. I've never known a school to be so caring, I went to a few state schools before sands and I had so many troubles, but now I have my own right to speak in an outstanding school where everyone has their own say.

    Sands is the best thing that happened in my life. In fact it's my biggest inspiration and has changed me from being a chav failiure to being someone who cares about the world I live in. Every kid should have the chance to take a trial week here, but it is completely democratic and very different to other schools x
