   KBG Chambers appears to have no issue working alongside solicitors recently disciplined by the SRA and representing clients operating in the greyest corners of the law — the kind of firms linked to fee fraud, regulatory evasion, and even public tragedies like the case that led to the suicide of Jerome Rogers. Their barrister, Mr Sancho Brett, saw no ethical issue in backing an enforcement agent whose body-worn footage had a mysterious two-minute gap — for which three contradictory explanations were offered, bespoke to each court situation. Rather than acknowledge this, Mr Brett doubled down and pushed whichever version was most convenient at the time. He also accused me — a litigant-in-person — of abusing the court process, with no evidence, then confronted me outside the hearing with a threat of costs in an attempt to intimidate me into withdrawing. That wasn’t advocacy, it is desperation. KBG’s conduct shows exactly why public trust in the legal profession and justice system is collapsing: it treats the truth as optional — especially when there’s a fee attached. A formal complaint has been made to the Bar Standards Board. Avoid.
