“We used Chilcotts Law for the conveyancing of our house purchase last summer. Adam Jewells and Alison Coe were excellent: efficient, quick to respond, able to translate legalese into comprehensible English and kept us regularly informed of the process. We purchased under modern method of auction, and they generously prepared the main sheaf of enquiries (based on the auction pack) ahead of the auction house (who were slow and unhelpful) even contacted them, so that they could send the enquiries the day they received notice of sale. Similarly, when the (even slower and more unhelpful) sellers' solicitors did not respond for over 5 weeks, they prepared everything ahead of time and responded immediately with the relevant details from our side so the purchase could be completed within the requisite 8 week timeframe. We could not have asked for better service.”
