I engaged Patterson Law to assist with a speeding case, paying £1,640 for representation. Unfortunately, the service I received fell far short of what was promised. Communication was extremely poor. Despite sending requested information weeks in advance, my case handler failed to acknowledge it. I had to chase repeatedly by phone, often without response. Preparation was inadequate. On the day of court, my barrister appeared unfamiliar with the details of my case, leaving me unprepared to answer questions in the dock. The level of service did not match the fee charged. In total, I received only a handful of phone calls, a few emails, and brief representation in court. The outcome was a six‑month disqualification, and I feel badly let down. I was promised thorough support and guidance but instead experienced delays, lack of communication, and poor preparation. For the cost involved, the service was wholly unsatisfactory.
Their assistance was outstanding throughout the whole process. I highly recommend their service. They went above and beyond to the point where the case was concluded and the barrister successfully argued the fine securing a £1,500 to £850 settlement. I am very pleased with the service provided.
Contacted Patterson Law to help resolve some speeding fines that I had, which were also delayed, and could have caused problems with my employment, as part of my job requires travelling by car. I was charged £1700 by Patterson Law for looking into the matter, which was paid by 3 monthly instalments by agreement. I found that they were quite informative and supportive up until I finished making my payments. After making the last payment, I received no communication or confirmation of the total of the final court fine until it came directly out of my wages at work! This final process coincided with my moving home, which I phoned and informed my legal contact about, but he did not bother to update the court details I gave him, so I could receive the required payment information to pay the fine myself. Due to this, the court took the amount, legally, directly from my wages via my employer, which was a really nice surprise on payday, as you can imagine!! My advice would be, if you can find a way to complete the legal court administration for yourself, then I would do that, as the cost is quite high for what they do, and you feel like you're one of many they are pushing through the system. Can you believe I still don't know the outcome completely or have those details!! The focus for these firms, like Patterson Law, is the fees received for their services, and then they move on to the next one as quickly as possible. Save some money. Find another way through the system and avoid it if you can...!
I am so glad I used Pattersons. I had never used a lawyer for such a thing before but they looked good so i gave it a try. It felt great to have someone on my side who really knew their stuff. My desired outcome was a very long shot but we gave it a very good go and even though I was unsuccessful, I was still very glad I had used this company, as I knew I had done everything possible.
