Lovely local little cafe overlooking the school playing fields. Love sitting outside on the covered deck in warmer weather. A good variety of breakfast and lunch options, and staff super friendly. Also do lovely cakes.
Situated in a very scenic location looking out on playing fields. Decent parking options off-road too in their small car park. The welcome was pleasant enough. It has the look of a dining area where somebody takes your order, but you do need to counter order - although the lady serving did take our order at the table as they were quiet, she said. The breakfasts we ordered were of a decent enough standard and portions generous. Eggs were over done, unfortunately, but everything else good enough. Our teas came with a shortbread biscuit on the saucer, which was a nice touch. Orange juice served to a glass with ice. The place is also licensed with a choice of bottled beers and wines. Overall we enjoyed the eating space at The Park Bistro, the food was good, and it was reasonably priced for what we had. Not quite a five star experience, but certainly worth four stars.
This place is a gem. Food is fantastic and worth the money, all cooked fresh. For anyone local or further afield make this a stop off point when going for a walk around Attenborough, look carefully on your maps and you will find a twitchel that brings you out opposite the Bistro from near the Trent circular walk. Well done to all involved.
This is a lovely little place, food is excellent quality, fairly priced and a great location with a small car park. Indoor tables and outdoor tables. We prefer to use privately run establishments over the corporate ones. It needs to be open more often as this a gem, also I used to get changed in here when it was the school changing rooms for football (the smell of grass, Deep Heat and cold showers are long since gone!)
Absolutely love this gem of a place and would thoroughly recommend it! Kate and the team went above and beyond in hosting my 30th birthday party last year. The food was delicious and the cafe/atmosphere was just lovely, nothing was too much for Park Bistro to handle and I'll look back on the occasion very fondly. I've gone several times since with family and friends and we've never been disappointed with the service. It's baby friendly and dog friendly too. Thank you guys for all your hard-work!
Was recommended Park Bistro by a friend. Had a lovely walk around Attenborough then stopped off for tea and Lemon Drizzle cake on the covered area, as we had the dog with us. Staff lovely and friendly and cake was very good. We will be back
This is now my favorite place to eat. Beautiful interior, great atmosphere, staff very professional and friendly. Food exceptional and drinks to the same standard. Playing fields right outside the door and great kiddies play park right next door.
An amazing place! This café is warm and cosy and beautifully decorated. The food is delicious and the coffee is great - even comes with a little biscuit! Such a nice atmosphere and addition to the surrounding area, definitely check it out :)
