Called to book a taxi 2 hours in advance - gentleman on the end of the phone really should work on his customer service skills. Taxi didn’t turn up for when I booked it for, got a message 10 minutes later saying no taxi’s available. 30 minutes later, still no taxi. No-one called me to apologise. Nearly missed my appointment at Derriford. Extremely poor service

Earlier this evening I was in desperate need of a taxi home having been discharged from hospital. Proper busy time of evening - & pissing it down. Rang several taxi firms but no joy - would've had to wait over an hour and a half to get one booked for me. Asked at taxi rank but disgusted at price they suggested. Rang this company, Plym Cabs, and the chap who answered was very calming (I was panicking abit, thought I'd have to walk home!). He told me I'd have to wait half an hour - I was well pleased with that! (Chance to dry off!) Within 30mins my car had arrived. The driver was very pleasant and we had a good chat. I totally recommend Plym Cabs. I will definitely be using them again when I need a cab! Both the driver and the chap who answered my call were polite, respectful and easy-going which properly put me at ease. (Unlike the taxi drivers in the taxi rank - one of whom was damn right rude!)

They just don't turn up! And the last time they actually did, taxi went to the wrong place. Waiting. Phoned. Instead of getting it resolved got a mouth of abuse and insults. I mean, abused, shouted at, and use at your peril! Left my wife stranded. Will never use them again. They have lost a regular and reliable customer. If they can't be polite to their regulars they sure as hell are not going to be polite to newcomers. Abusive customer service. Shout really loudly at customers, insult them, to hide their own mistake.

Absolutely terrible! Ordered a cab with 30 minute wait time given, but after 45 minutes, still no cab. Ohoned then up to cjdvk on its whereabouts and was infkrinf thst they weren't sure when our cab would arrive. Received a message to say our cab had arrived at the wrong location despite having already received a message stating the correct pick up point. Phoned up company again, stoll not able to provide an actual pick-up time. Eventually a taxi did artige over 45 minutes later than expected. Won't be using these again in a hurry. Avoid if possible.

Absolutely awful. Booked a cab a whole day in advance for a 6:45 pick up so not even late. Rang them after it was already 30 minutes late and some guy who had no idea on the other end of the phone just kept telling me he has no cars, Gave no idea as to even an estimated time, could’ve been an hour could’ve been never. Will never book again. Plym cabs used to be a good firm but now seems to have all changed hands and have turned into a joke taxi company. Rang another local company and cab was here in 5 minutes at the time they said it would be.

Prebooked taxi to pick us up from friends at end of evening. After waiting nearly 10 mins called to see where our taxi was, told it would be 5mins. Another 10mins went by still no taxi. Called the office again to told the taxi had been and gone. When asked why the driver didn't call or knock on door to say he was there as you cant see the road from the house the controller put the phone down. We have used plym cabs for over 15yrs and this is how they treat customers. Will never be using plym cabs again.
