   Chanel was brilliant. She understood both of us and gave us equal air time to share our feelings and understand each other. I’ve never had a counsellor quite as personable as her. She made us both feel comfortable and safe in the space which allowed us to share honestly with her to work through our problems. We would recommend Chanel to any other partners going through some difficulties, we are very grateful.

   I had weekly sessions with Hannah R for a couple of years. Hannah is a very compassionate therapist and my sessions always felt like a safe and non-judgmental space. I really enjoyed my sessions and have come away with so many skills and tools to help me manage any issues I have.

   The 2 counselling sessions provided by Christie were somewhat helpful. However abrupt termination of my sessions by her employer without appropriate referral was very unhelpful to me personally and I believe failed to meet minimum professional standards. As such, I will be reporting a complaint to BACP. Edit; please see the response below to illustrate Nottingham Counselling Therapy's approach to client confidentiality. I still have no idea (they haven't said) in which way they consider I pose a risk to the wellbeing of their clients or therapists. Now this false claim is posted on a public forum for good measure, presumably because they want me to delete my review

   I decided to go private and seek therapy at Nottingham Counselling just over a year ago. I had weekly, sessions with Hannah Martin, which I then switched to fortnightly due to financial reasons. (Hannah was very understanding and accommodating of this). I was instantly made to feel at ease in sessions; Hannah was incredibly professional and compassionate and I knew I’d made the right decision. I have benefitted so much from our sessions: learning how to accept thoughts & emotions, methods of self care, working on my inner child, setting boundaries, and so much more. All of which have helped me to show up for myself and start functioning at my full ability. I’m extremely grateful to Hannah. It is clear how hard she worked along the way, always showing up for our sessions in a positive manner, being attentive and knowing exactly what to ask or say in them for me to get the most out of them. I would recommend therapy and Nottingham Counselling & Psychotherapy to everyone. It is a welcoming and safe environment which I always looked forward to visiting. Thank you to Hannah M and the team for all their hard work!

   I have been having weekly sessions with therapist Hannah Beech for over a year and a half. I'm so grateful for her approachable, kind and professional manner, she truly made me feel safe and at ease. I recommend therapy to so many people now I've experienced what the benefits can be and having that non bias approach can be advantageous. Thank you for everything you've helped me with Hannah !    Absolutely fantastic, the support I recieved by my therapist Hannah was truly amazing and I am forever grateful. Her warm and welcoming aura allowed me to begin exploring aspects of my life I had been struggling with for many years. Hannah provided excellent support with no judgements and held a safe space where I could be 100% myself. I would truly recommend the service for anyone who feels they would benefit from support. Thank you for helping me understand myself.

   Had my consultation on the 16th of February and was told I’d hear from Chanel detailing what was next and arrange my next appointment. I emailed her a week later to ask what was happening no response. It’s now the 3rd of March and I’ve heard nothing. Extremely unprofessional and careless to offer therapy and then ghost a client. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone if the staff are this careless with people in need of therapy and a safe space to talk. It could be very damaging to some people
