   The clerk said something but I didn't hear it. She could have just repeated it, but instead she exchanged looks with the person behind me in line and rolled her eyes at me. It seemed like she was racially discriminating against me because I'm Asian. I found it utterly unreasonable and infuriating. From now on, I'd rather go somewhere farther away than come back to this store.

   Great selection of sweets for a pound, some nice food. Good value for most items but be sure to check as not always cheaper. Only issue at the moment is shelves are quite empty of some products, but that's an issue everywhere.

   The assortment has decreased, the number of items priced at £1 has reduced, and the prices have changed to £1.80, £2, 3£,3,50 and £2.50.

   Unsure how they get away with calling it a poundshop anymore. Not much for £1 these days. Lots of gaps on the shelves and why do they hire smelly staff? Every poundshop has that one person with severe BO who stinks up the whole shop.

   I will be doing no further shopping in this branch. I was in three branches yesterday and on a number of lines prices were more expensive in this branch, despite Poundland saying that even their Local branches charge the same as their big branches.

   In the shop today, on a Saturday morning. Only one staff member on the shop floor, over 20 people queueing. She had two tills open trying to cope. Give her a pay rise and employ more staff! This is exploitative and appalling conditions for your employees to work in.

   Why isn't poundland a Pound shop any more? I could find very little for a pound and really felt I had been lured in under false pretenses. Once they had absorbed my favourite 99p Shop things went down hill rapidly. It would seem because they had got rid of their rival ?
