   Went to this store to collect my Amazon parcel. On arrival I showed my code and even found my parcel myself. The woman behind the counter just looks at the parcel and immediately says it’s past the due date and I cannot give it to you. She scans the parcel and says the system won’t allow me to give it to you and to contact Amazon. Turns out they had reported my parcel as lost/stolen in attempts to scam and keep the parcel themselves. Once I told her to not scam me and give me my parcel she called her manager and in the end got my parcel. Don’t ever do Amazon pick ups from here because they’ll do anything in their power to keep it parcel for themselves!!!!

   Very convenient shop for last minute purchases and Amazon delivery. However, avoid this place when the Indian lady is at the till. She is extremely unpleasant and it seems she was not properly taught how to be polite and deal with people/customers.

   Since this corner store was taken over in early 2024, the new owners have made a huge effort to successfully renovate, upgrade and essentially transform the shop. The new Hawks Road doorway helps make it a lot more approachable, the whole store has been refreshed, the range of items upgraded, plus the staff are super friendly. The colourful collection of plants and flowers is also inspired given its proximity to Kingston Cemetery.

   I never give bad reviews but the service here was horrible. I'd paid extra to have an amazon parcel deliver to here. I received the email to say my parcel was ready to collect but the lady at the checkout refused to give me my parcel. She said she can't unlock the phone in order to hand me my parcel as she didn't know the PIN code to unlock the phone and that the Amazon man would come back tomorrow and so I would have to wait. I asked to call this Amazon man on her behalf to find out the PIN but she refused to give me any number to call. This is doubly frustrating as I'd paid for next day delivery to this store as I needed this parcel for a work trip. The lady behind the checkout was incredibly unhelpful and rude shouting at me to come back tomorrow. Although I live locally, I will never do any business in this store and would advice everyone to stay clear of having your parcels delivered here. There's another reviewer on here with a similar experience so this isn't a one off.

   Do not get your parcels delivered here. They do not have space to take larger packages and the ones they do they take in are kept on the floor scattered everywhere. The older lady (assumingly the mother) was extrememly rude when trying to collect parcels all because the she was too incapable to work a tablet. She treated us as If this was our fault and kept referring us back to dpd until a man came from out back and quickly SWITCHED ON the device and handed us the parcel from the floor. Avoid.
