The staff at the counter is so rude and disrespectful she’s an old lady.I told her that I don’t want the item and gave it to her she pushed and told me get out I was so confused and pissed never going Poundland again
Extremely rude Indian lady she called me a liar and shouted at me. Extremely unprofessional and she needs to be fired as I’m not the first she’s done this to. I didn’t have my id so I asked her if I can show a picture and she started ignoring me and helping other customers so I went to speak to a different member of staff who was more helpful and friendly. Very very disrespectful attitude as I was there first yet was helped last.
They have stocked expired tea cakes. I bought tea cakes today and it's the 2nd of July.The tea cakes were expired on the 07th of june 2025.It literally smelt like smoke coming from a cigarette and it tasted absolutley disgusting!!! Make sure to check the best before date!! They shouldn't even be Stocking expired products!?!?!?! Disappointed and annoyed!!!
Incredibly rude self-service checkout assistant. She tried to gaslight me, but I was not going to fall for that, so she repeatedly implied I was stupid. She called the manager over so that "he might be able to explain in a way that I can understand". The manager just carried on serving people at the cash register and it was only on the third time the assistant called him over that he bothered to respond. He confirmed that the assistant was giving me incorrect information, but not before he corrected shelf edge price tickets and tried to dupe me into believing it was my error. Eventually, he conceded that he had corrected the price tickets, but I received no apology from in-store staff for the ticketing error (I paid the higher price), the treatment from staff, not the attempts to manipulate me. I get that this is a discount store, but staff treating customers in such a way is simply not justifiable.
There is one particular employee at this branch who is rude! Don’t know how she’s still working here for years - Kamala (usually works at the self checkouts) comes across as very passive aggressive. Her approach to customer service is appalling. i don’t understand what one has done for her to go off like that nor do i personally know her. she’s utterly rude & i am very disgusted with her behaviour. Learn the basic skills of mannerism, it’s very embarrassing to even tell her to act her age at this point. if you don’t like your job, just quit. Your problem isn’t everyone’s problem.
Should be called poundsland. 90 percent of items are more than a pound now. Half empty shelves and stock out of place and very untidy and unhygienic as kids play with items and replace them back on shelves like biscuits, crisp packets and sweets while sticking their fingers in their nose and mouths.
Some decent things for £1, as you would expect, but other £1 items are a special size and quite expensive on a per kg basis and are to be avoided, so a good choice in some cases
This store has gone downhill with reduced selection of products, messy layout and disinterested staff added to this, prices have increased
Worst return service among any poundland store, staff is very rude if you go and try to return anything, first they refused to return but after argument and showing poundland policies they process your return. I do not have such bad return experience in other poundland stores across London
