   I strongly advise against using Wilson Nesbitt for any conveyancing work. My remortgage was unnecessarily delayed by several weeks despite all documents and requirements being submitted well in advance. As a direct result, I was forced onto my lender's much higher Standard Variable Rate, costing me hundreds of pounds in extra interest. Communication throughout the process was extremely poor, email updates were rare, and I was constantly having to chase for any information. On one occasion I had contacted the case handler three times with no response, so I resulted in going via the reception asking for someone to please contact me. Even after escalating my concerns to senior staff, nothing improved and the lack of responsiveness continued. Based on my frustrating experience, I cannot recommend Wilson Nesbitt and would advise anyone considering them to look elsewhere for a more reliable service. You just have to read through some of the other reviews where other clients experienced similar issues during the conveyancing process.

   I cannot believe Wilson Nesbitt have gone this low chasing UK company invoice’s for unpaid parking tickets this is a very low move. Sad times for a bangor firm who I have used in the past and found to be good. If I were a customer living in North Down I would use another firm maybe a respectable Holywood company and ignore this firm. Of course this is MY OPINION do your own research, extremely annoyed that this is where we are heading as a society.

   Our house was agreed for sale in July 2024. When we contacted Wilson Nesbitt to let them know we were putting the house on the market, we received information from them relating to the conveyancing process. This information laid out clearly the terms and conditions. Once the house sale was agreed I was able to track its progress using the customer online portal. This was updated regularly. In addition to the information on the portal, I was in frequent email contact with a specific member of staff.

   I would not recommend for dealing with a mortgage. Numerous different case handlers, no communication between staff, multiple trips to the office to sign the same paperwork. Absolutely appalling service and extortionate fees that seemed to increase without reason with no discussion. I was even sent an email explaining the next steps to get my keys and pay deposit etc after I had collected my keys and figured it out myself. Please spare yourselves any upset and choose someone else.

   I asked Wilson Nesbitt to handle the sale of my late father’s house, having used them previously for my own conveyancing some years ago. As before, I found the service to be of the highest standard from making the initial contact right through to completion approximate 9-10 weeks later. Most impressively, and a rarity these days, I received responses to every question I posed within the shortest timescale, and at every step of the process, prompt action was taken, hence the surprisingly quick completion and payment of the proceeds. I have spent over three decades in the financial services industry and have bought and sold a number of properties, and would rate Wilson Nesbitt among the best companies I have dealt with. Thanks so much to Lauren and Ling for the highest standard of service, carried out in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.
