What a hidden gem in Cornwall! I was told about Charlie Bears by a friend so visited over Christmas with my son. It’s just off the A30 in launceston so easy to find! We loved it! Soooo many bears all beautifully displayed and there was a quiz for my son to do whilst walking around. This place is really special and well worth a visit. Staff are lovely and talked through all the collections etc, and yes we did buy a few as they are a lot more special than other soft toys and products on the market!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the delightful Charlie Bears store in Launceston. Upon entering, I received a very friendly, warm welcome from the two lovely ladies staffing the shop. When I introduced myself as Lord Parker, they said "Oh we've been told about you!" and we proceeded to have a delightful conversation about my title and passion for collectible bears. The staff offered my wife and I tea and coffee as they gave us access to the "Bear House Gallery", which you enter through an enchanting hobbit-style door. The Gallery spans two floors(there is a lift), with the ground floor housing a fascinating historical collection of Charlie Bears pieces. Upstairs is a whimsical Victorian-style shopping mall filled with display windows showcasing bears and animals of all varieties. I especially enjoyed the creative mini scenes artfully built into the walls, like the miniature fire station and cricket match dioramas. Be sure to keep an eye out for clues to the "Secret Room" code located on keys throughout the gallery (two upstairs and two downstairs). Once inside, you'll be amazed by the gigantic collection of rare bears and other treasures. The facilities were excellent, with a refreshment area and clean toilets on site. I did lose control a bit on my way out and bought a couple of new additions for my vast bear collection - a glorious, plush bear and a mad March hare. This was not at all what I expected, and I could have spent the entire day absorbed in looking around and soaking up the delightful ambience. I will definitely be returning to this magical bear paradise! The staff were so friendly and the collection is unrivaled. A must-visit for bear lovers.

Amazing visit to this wonderful museum. Nearly every soft toy they have made is on show from 2016.

Charlie bears gallery if I could would be six stars. The lady on the entrance made my daughter feel so special on her visit and it was great to see and feel there excitement. Once you get through the first magical door you realise that this place has put a lot of thought into everything. Each display is different and the street upstairs showing all the bears off is really good. The gallery is clean, tidy, open, in very good condition (all looks new) and let's you explore the 1000s of bears from the past from small to very big. Even the lift looks the part! Won't say too much but the secret door was awesome too. There is a drinks machine and toilet here too. The parking is on the street but we found a place easy enough. The shop had a good choice of bears to choose from and our daughter left happy. Overall a very good place to visit and at £2 for adults well worth the money.
