   This Poundland in Romford Brewery is definitely the best one I have visited. The shelves are well stocked with a large variety of goods including frozen items too. The Isles are wide giving more than enough room for wheel chair users. The staff here are great, very helpful, polite, and well presented. This is hands down the best Poundland to visit compared to others.

   I visited the store on 26/10/2025 at around 4:50 PM, but the manager was standing outside stopping customers, saying the store was closed. When I asked why, since the closing time is 5:00 PM, he said there were “too many customers inside.” However, I could see only 4–5 customers and several staff just standing around. This was disappointing — the store should serve customers until the actual closing time. You can check the CCTV to confirm what happened.

   A shop where everything costs £1. Amazing. Well it used to be. Inflation has meant prices have had to be adjusted to above £1, but prices are still generally quite great and you can get very good deals here for your toiletries, snacks, drinks, etc.

   Although no longer the shop where everything is a pound it still worth shopping there. They sell many good products such as anti aging creams for half the price. Most poundland have extended their freezer foods which is handy if there's something there you like such as ice cream. Sandwiches, cheese, meats, the usual crisps, snacks. They have a fair amount of make up including Barry M nail varnish. Wool is 3-2 l've knitted with this it's really good at an affordable price.
