Staff are polite, friendly and knowledgeable. However, just the same as everywhere else, the prices for car insurance were Sky high.
I had my car insurance with Hughes all last year and it is up for renewal at the end of this month. Although I didn’t get the price I was looking for this year and have to move companies for a cheaper deal I couldn’t have got a nicer member of staff. I was speaking with Matthew and he went above and beyond trying to sort out cheaper insurance for me. Calling me back as there were times I couldn’t speak and ringing several different companies to find me a cheaper deal (I know that’s their job but I felt he cared about what he was doing). Matthew was very professional, patient and easy to talk too and I left the call feeling he’d done all he could! Very grateful for such a nice experience as you well know insurance can be a pain to get sorted! :)
Hughes Insurance have closed all their offices. I needed to change my car insurance over from my old car to one I had just purchased. The engine size was almost identical. I had to pay a fee of £294-81. They told me it wasn't possible to do it any cheaper. As a long term customer of Hughes, when the time comes I'll be looking elsewhere.
A bit hard to get through to but once I got answered the staff were very helpful and very polite
Stay away. Falsely accused of speeding 3 times with there telematics policy. Very unhelpful
