   I’ve bought a car insurance with them last week and the car was faulty after I drove for an hour anyway insured the car with Cornmarket so I had to cancel it next day. They’ve charged me for an £114.40 for a cancellation charge for a day which is too much. Avoid this insurance company in the future.

   Do not use. I signed up for car insurance. First they could never provide a web log in or electronic documents (only hard copy) because they said their system didn’t work with Gmail (!!). Then they spent my year spamming me with texts. These never gave a STOP or opt out option. Then when I decided not to renew (because of the spam texts), I got spammed with phone calls - each from a different mobile so I could not block them. Getting rid of Cornmarket was like getting rid of an abusive, harassing partner. Never again

   Wasted 30 minutes on the phone trying to get motorbike insurance before being told I put the wrong details of a claim in when in fact it’s their poorly worded website that is at fault. Be aware that if you had a fault accident that you claimed for but your no claims discount was NOT affected which mine wasn’t you must still answer Yes to the question in the picture as what the question actually should say is “Did you claim from your insurer?”. Very very misleading. Also I asked where am I seeing my IAM Advanced Rider discount and I got a pretty loose answer and then rather rudely got told I’m not supposed to have accidents as I’m an Advanced Rider. Erm…. Firstly the accident was a year before I became an advanced rider and secondly the accident was in a car not on a motorbike so a very invalid point made. All in all yet another case of insurers doing what the hell they like at the expense of the consumer.

   How times change. 3 years ago I gave them a 5 star rating. They'd bend over backwards to beat your best quote. Alas now, they obviously have all the business they need. Their price came back double my best quote and they weren't interested in the slightest to try and help. That's the quote and it is what it is was her attitude. Shame really as I'd been a customer for quite a few years. Back to the insurance merry go round I suppose.

   First time I've used Cornmarket Insurance Services, and now wish I'd known about them previously. Just renewed my home insurance and the staff were not only very courteous, they also went out of their way to explain certain aspects of the policy, that no other previous home insurance company have ever done, and did so with the customer in mind, even though it took them longer. In a word, excellent.

   I found reinsurance my car with Cornmarket insurance both easy and beneficial The new premium quote made by a simple telephone call was promptly answered by a knowledgeable assistant who quickly provided a competitive quote. I'd certainly contact them again next time my insurance is due.
