The manager of this store accused me of calling a member of his staff “a fat c@“t” absolute lie and was disgusting. I asked for video proof which he couldn’t provide, because he was full of it. I complained to the company and they couldn’t care less.
I have used this store a couple of times. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is always clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend anybody to use this store.
Used these lovely people for years..! Always sensible, fair priced loan system, good customer service. If it wasn’t for places like this, those needing short term loans would be left to the wolves or the low offer other places around. You get a sensible loan or second hand sale on a sensible product here. Trusted loan, sale and buy. Wouldn’t go anywhere else myself. QxXx
Friday, 26th July 2019 Time: Between 11:00 am to 11:15 am. - Poped in at the Boscombe Store, spoted an s9+, asked for a member of the staff if I could see it, showed interest to buy that one I was looking - The one linked to Tesco as I also am on Tesco; price was ok. The middle age lady that was dealing with me was nice and polite, as I also was; everything nice and smooth, the lady was even calling me love all the time. so far so good, What gone absolutely wrong was what came afterwards. I showed intention to trade my s9, she took it inside to show someone for evaluation, then she came back. Glass protection of my phone that I paid nearly 40£ for, was completely broken. I asked what happened, she replied to me: "oh as there was a tiny small dent on the glass protection ( YES it was ) they have lifted the glass protection to check that the display was not cracked also"... I asked the lady, why they have not told me that they would need to do that before actually doing it without telling me ?!..at that stage we had no yet come to an agreement that I would accept what they were offering to me - an ridiculous 150 pounds, on a pretty much A GRADE condition PHONE!!!.. but that is not the point as it was pure business and I was not forced to accept it.. WHAT I DON'T ACCEPT AT ALL, is that now I have a bloody looking like C Grade s9 just because someone at the store, decided to do so on a belonging that was not theirs!!.. You did not act well. not even an apology from the Lady which was more than embarrassed, You Should not have done that!!... not everyone that goes to such stores are in trouble or desperate for money!!!... don't take care of other people's belongings as if all were stolen, because to me is what you have just did!!.. go retrieve the images from your cctv. I have also photos of how you delivered me back my phone!!... Boscombe Store?.. forget... never more!...
Discovered this place by accident and I liked it for what it is. Has a wide range of different items and as a PS1 games collector I found what I wanted.. A shelf full and bought all bar one game.. Prices here seem fair and unlike cash generator further up the road it doesn't stink of urine.. The staff are friendly and approachable and it is what you would expect as a store.. Not sure why people moan when selling to places like this. I would happily shop here again
