   Hired the smaller of the two rooms (with bar) for a party. Booking is straightforward, old school and I loved that: I'd missed out on a completely different venue due to a problem with it's online booking but I'm so pleased as Richard Herrod was perfect! A great, affordable venue with really helpful, friendly staff. Special thanks to Dion, Ashleigh and Wayne.

   Richard Herrod centre has a fantastic bowls arena which is a great place for people to meet and play bowls to help keep fit. It is great for socialising. Now the Council in their wisdom are looking to get rid of the bowls green because of cost! Who are these people and what do they they are doing. Leave Gedling bowls centre alone!

   On Saturday 20th April 2024 i had my 60th birthday party at the Richard Herod Centre I walked in the door and nearly teared up when I saw how my daughter had decorated the hall The staff at Richard Herod were great and on the day everything was perfect. They let me set up a Caribbean buffet and dJ and even extending the ending of the evening from 11.30 till midnight. An unforgettable night I will always remember.

   A great place locally in carlton for a night out with two bars one in conference room an the other in sports bar, not had a breakfast here had a good Friday night out here recently at a take that tribute night, plenty of room an tables too dace floor and bar, management very welcoming and friendly
