Arnot Hill Park is more than just green spaceβitβs a living ritual. I often come here with my son to feed the birds, and itβs become one of our most grounding routines. The pigeons will eat straight from your hand if youβre patient, and the variety of birds is stunning: black ducks, coots, and those striking white-plumaged ducks with orange bills and feet. Thereβs even a resident heron that adds a touch of quiet majesty to the pond. The cafe is a solid anchorβfriendly staff, decent options, and a good spot to warm up or cool down depending on the season. Sports areas are well-kept and offer plenty of space for football, tennis, or just letting off steam. Itβs a park that holds space for both movement and stillness. Whether youβre there for the wildlife, the walk, or the bonding, Arnot Hill Park delivers

As a wheelchair user I found the easiest route was to park in the blue badge bays behind arnot hill house and then follow the red line shown on my photo down to the cafe, round the lake and back to the car park following the path with the gentlest slope back up. A lovely interesting park to visit.

Iβve had the pleasure of photographing quite a few weddings at Arnold Hill Park and its lovely registry office, and itβs always a joy! The team at the registry office are so welcoming, making the experience even better for couples and their guests. As for the parkβitβs an absolute gem for photos. No matter the season or weather, it always looks beautiful and offers so many gorgeous backdrops. Definitely a favourite spot of mine for capturing special memories!

What an amazing place. My sister even got married here (but I couldnβt come because it was during covid)! The fountain and the pond is such a calming feature. I am grateful for the signs encouraging people to not feed the ducks bread, and giving alternatives. The park is perfect for all ages. Iβve gone with toddlers and children, who have all had a great time. Some very creative playground items to play on! There are loads of places to sit and have a picnic. So much to explore and appreciate. I definitely recommend coming here!

Lovely registry office with beautiful grounds for photos, we had a very light drizzle (I know photos donβt look like it) and we managed to get under some trees to briefly continue. The lawn area is clean and tidy with no litter, depending on position of the sun your backgrounds are great. There is ample free parking for your guests as well.

Great park to just chill out in. Lake full of ducks and geese to watch and feed! I think the best time to visit the park is springtime. Look out for the geese with the little chicks. Little kiosk to buy snacks and drinks with some outside seating. Play area for the kids as well. Just a stones throw away from a McDonald's if you are so inclined.
