   It's got a nice play area and not too busy however the whole park just isn't clean,rubbish is left everywhere and the toilets are even worse

   Not a safe area, there is no fencing around the park,its dull, old and tired looking , but there is nowhere else in the area to go so it's a Case of put up or shut up

   When I visited it had been cleaned up as there was a fun day organized by Friends of Sawley Park. Good outdoor area to watch local football Entertain your children or exercise

   The park is alot different to how I remember it but it was a great distraction for my grandson when my sister went to the doctors surgery nearly opposite, kept him amused for a good couple of hours.

   It's a great park and is suitable for kids of all agers. Teenagers do hang around the park from about 6pm, so I'd advise visiting before this time. I wouldn't mind but taking drugs under the climbing frame and leaving litter when there's many bins around is just not on however I understand there's not alot for them to do it the area but they could be more respectful.

   Great park for many age groups. Two big problems with it though: 1) no fence to keep wandering young children off paths and roads. 2) it's popular with young teens as a hangout area, meaning it becomes littered quickly with cans and bottles. Not enough of a problem to stop us coming here frequently :)
