Smashing country park with some amazing wildlife. The Rumbles cafe is an excellent place for a break, with a children's play area to the rear. The tarmac pathway is easily accessible for all. Don't forget some bread for the ducks & carp fish.

Visited here for the Saturday morning 9am parkrun. This is a really great venue, the carpark was full, but there is ample street parking just a few hundred yards up the road. This is a well organised event with really friendly marshalls. It's a single lap which is mainly on paths, small bit through a wood on bark, but road shoes were fine. The first 3/4 is mostly up hill, but gradual, then a great downhill section to the finish line. Good views from the top, but I imagine would be a little exposed in the winter or mid summer. Nice touch with the run director giving cakes out at the finish line.

I love walking around vicars waters. There's a cafe on site which is really good and has lots of nice food and snacks to choose from. Then there's lots of circular walking routes with great views to choose from and enjoy.

Super place for an easy or strenuous walk, the choice is there for you. Wonderful walk around fishing lakes with solid paths. Children's play area and cafe. Most unusual, a voluntary parking charge system.
