We had a lovely walk yesterday. Paths, nature centre and cafe all dog friendly on the lead. Good selection of gifts in the shop. Pathways clean and tidy. Variety of walk lengths. Plenty of ducks!

The scenery is absolutely stunning, featuring vibrant birds and a serene pond nestled along the winding path. I even caught sight of sheep grazing peacefully and a charming line of ducks waddling by in one of the trait.

A nice stroll trough the wilderness. Loads of wildlife to watch. Calm and peaceful place to enjoy nature. It has a small café and toilets. Car park has plenty of available spaces, but you have to pay.

Really nice place. Lots of wildlife to see (mainly birds). Lots of nice walks, some of which are longer, but equally picturesque. There is a nice cafe with lots of drinks options and food, although this is a bit limited. The shop forms part of the cafe and has lots of items for sale, just to name a few, bird boxes, seed, children's toys etc. For the bird watchers, there is a good selection of binoculars if your money stretches that far. Also in the cafe are toilets for both men and women, and assuming these are for the wheelchair and pushchairusers, as I didn't use them. When we visited, there was an art exhibition with some beautiful paintings and prints of birds and animals. Make sure visit the Sandmartin hide to the rear of the cafe, as they are currently nesting, and you can get really close and is amazing. There are also other hides around the reserve. Car parking currently £3 for 2 hours, £4 for 4 hours or £5 ally day. Fairly reasonable. If you have a few hours to spare, make a visit, definitely worth it.

Great place. Lots of interesting and varying species to photograph (and sometimes to interact with). Wish the car parking was free but I guess they have to pay their bills. Not much vegan stuff but at least they don't charge extra for non dairy milk.

With a wonderful opportunity to see Britain's water habitat birds in their natural environment Attenborough Nature Reserve is brilliant. Walks through the area are well set out and managed. Seating is provided along the trails and you do not need to wander too far from the carpark to be in the peace and quiet. We always stop a while for a drink or light meal at the visitors centre where you can also purchase interesting and educational gifts and souvenirs. Highly recommended.

Beautiful lakeland with lots of nature around you, lots of different walks around different lakes to choose from. The coffee shop is excellent, with a lovely outside area overlooking the lake. Plenty of car parking space with cheap parking £3 for the whole day, which is a bargain as the rest of the day is free, and I think the parking fee goes towards the up keep of the area.
