   My husband always goes to this florist but didn’t realise they’d changed hands - he paid £45 for a bunch of flowers to be delivered plus £5 delivery - what arrived was good quality but not a bouquet more a bunch of flowers and to my mind not quite £45 worth -mostly red and yellow gerbera and yellow chrysanthemums, a rose a yellow carnation, a few other bits and some gyp - no foliage so it looks like something from a supermarket not from a great florist . We’d paid £35 for a lovely bigger bouquet there a few months ago. my husband is not good at ordering colours so the choice might have been reduced but some advice on the phone could have sorted that. The quality of the flowers is great , they will last but next time and I will try them again I’ll be ordering in person.

   Terrible Service & No Accountability Avoid! I ordered flowers on behalf of my friend for his wife while he was away, providing the correct name and address over the phone. However, the flowers were delivered with a completely different name and address, causing unnecessary issues between my friend and his wife. When I called to complain, I was met with shocking customer service. The person I spoke to claimed that the person who placed the order couldn't speak English--when in fact, I was the one who placed the order. I found this extremely offensive. They then said the manager would call me back. When he did, he was rude and dismissive, stating, "I'm not doing anything or giving you a refund, cheerio." wasn't even asking for a refund, - simply wanted them to acknowledge their mistake. Instead, I received no apology and no accountability for their error. Absolutely terrible experience, and I will never be using this florist again. I do not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service.

   Fabulous range of fresh cut flowers with a price range to suit all. Either buy a prepared bunch or select from their huge range to make your own. I also noticed whilst in there that they do fresh veg. Felt like a proper old shop. I was served promptly, politely and was made to feel welcome. I will be going back again.

   I went in late on a Monday afternoon and they had the most gorgeous bouquet made up for £35, so lovely with bright yellows and my mum was absolutely delighted. Stayed fresh for over a week despite the hot weather and some great veggies in tge shop too. Will definitely be back.

   Just wanted to share my experience with Simon Smith Flowers....I have always had lovely fresh and in season relative flowers from this florist. Not only that, but I recently lost a loved one and phone Simon Smith Flowers for some flowers to be sent to my Aunt. I did not want them to reflect sadness but more Spring and happy thoughts of my late uncle. The lady on the other end of the phone was not only helpful but full of empathy as I struggled to get my words out for the card that was to be sent with the flowers. For that I will always be thankful to her. We do not always get to see the flowers that we order to be delivered 3rd party but I was fortunate as I went to visit my Aunt at the weekend last week. I had already received a call from my Aunt when she received the flowers to say an amazing bouquet had just been delivered and they were the most gorgeous flowers she had seen in a long time. So when I got to her house, she ushered my into the room to see the beautiful bouquet, still going strong in the most vibrant and beautiful, greens, whites and yellow flowers. They were breathtaking and not only that, no sign of wilting or discolouring a week later. I must add that I repeated my visit the following weekend as I do her shopping for her also during the lockdown and they were still going strong with just a few stems being removed but the majority still going strong. I can't express in this feedback just what joy this brought my Aunt in what has been a sad and lonely time for her. So I say thank you to you all at Simon Smith Flowers.....not only from me...the bill payer of those flowers....but for giving so much joy and love through your flowers to a sad lady that has just lost her husband of over 50 years. I am very grateful to you.

   Wonderful little flower shop, also selling gorgeous fresh/local produce as well, with very helpful and accomodating staff. Special mention for Lisa, who made my mother's funeral arrangement much lovelier than I could have hoped. Could not recommended more. Many thanks.
